His eyes
swept over the dark room. He was searching for something-some*one*. He didn't
know why he felt the way he did…but he did. And he wanted to find him…to make
him understand…to make himself understand.
His eyes
continued searching, probing into the hidden depths of the room.
Please love let's make
no impartial vow
Let all fall away
That's not crucial now
His eyes
alit on something in the darkness…their game of hide-and-seek was over. Walking
towards the figure, he whispered his name.
The man turned.
His eyes lit up as he recognized him.
Neither one
knew exactly what happened but somehow they doing exactly what they're promised
not to do.
I want a brave love,
one that makes me weak in the knees
I want a crazy, crazy
love
One that makes me come
undone at the seams
Their lips
pressed together again and again, hands fumbling as they sought to remove their
needless clothing, anxious to feel their skin rubbing sensuously against the
others. Their breathing was heavy, their soft sounds of need, want, and
pleasure filled the room.
Cause I'm tired of all
these pilgrims, these puritans, these thieves
Of all these
unbelievers who whittle love down at the knees
Let these swift roads
destroy themselves
Let the world fall
into its sleep
For we shall be spared
As the last
sounds of their love-making died away, they separated, scrambling away from
each other, trying to, wanting to understand.
Neither one
could explain what had happened. The only words they could find was a clumsily
muttered apology that neither one meant.
They had
wanted it.
Sought it.
And did not
regret it.
We shall be left
standing
To face what's left of
concrete and honey
Kiss the flame
Let's run with the
hunted the untamed
Kiss the flame
Embrace the faceless,
the unnamed
Kiss the flame
Their eyes
glowed at each other in the darkness. There was nothing left for them here.
They had
done what they'd sworn they would never do.
They had
done it shamelessly, without remorse they had fallen to the ground, joining
together and not regretting any of it.
And
now…they must leave.
There was
nothing left for them.
There are nightmares
on the sidewalks
There are jokes on TV
There are people
selling thoughtlessness
With such casualty
They did
not need each other. There moment of passion was gone, only a lingering memory,
soft and faded around the edges. They had to leave...both of them had someone
waiting for them, needing them, wanting them.
They gazed
at each other. Both knew what they had to do, and yet neither turned, wanting
this moment to last forever.
But wherefore art thou
Romeo
Where have all the
brave men gone
Show me one man who
knows his own heart
To him I shall belong
At last, he
whispered, "Good bye."
As he
started out of the room where the scent of their lovemaking still lay heavy in
the air, he heard his lover for the night call.
"Wufei…I
love you…"
Kiss the flame
Let's run with hunted,
the untamed
Kiss the flame
Embrace the faceless,
the untamed
Kiss the flame
Kiss the flame
Kiss the flame
He stopped
upon hearing the words torn so desperately from his lover's lips. Turning, he
ran the few steps back to him and embraced him, pressing his lips recklessly
along his face.
After a
long moment they let go of each other. They might love each other…but they
already had commitments made to others neither one wanted to leave yet.
As his
lover quietly slipped away, Wufei called into the darkness. "I love
you…Quatre."
Please love let's make
no impartial vows

Did I surprise ya with the end? Huh, huh? Did I?
