Just a small piece that I needed to write down. Hope you like it. Please R&R.

Thinking Small

Seth Cohen was not a simple man by any means. In fact most people would have described him as the most twisted person they had ever met. But then again, not many people had met Seth Cohen.

Regardless, Seth was a man of simple things. Unlike most people, he knew that it's not the big things in life that matter. When you eventually look back and think about how you ended up where you are, you'll remember the smallest, silliest details and love your life for them. Since he already had certain advantage, he decided, why not make it count. So, one day Seth Cohen sat down and wrote down all the things he loved about his life.

Seth loved late mornings that never seemed to end and the few moments before it started to rain. When the sky was grey and everything was still. He loved the sudden splash of seawater on his face. He loved the feel of new comics and the smell of pencil on paper. He loved to wonder if he would inherit his father's eyebrows. And loved to stop after it started to scare him. He loved eat bagels early in the Sunday mornings when no one else was awake and noodles late in the Friday nights when everyone else was asleep. He loved how the fact that he spend party nights alone eating ramen didn't always make him feel like the biggest geek alive. And he loved the fact that Summer Roberts often did. And most of all he loved to make lists.

After finishing Seth leaned back and looked the list over. It was perfect. He had just succusfully proved to the world and himself that his live was about the little things. Yet he was not satisfied. In fact, there was something that blew his whole theory into tiny little pieces.

He loved Ryan. And there was nothing little about Ryan Atwood.
