Hey, long time, no update - yeah...
I have just a bit of free time, in which I wrote this. I think I see a reoccurring pattern with all the dark/crazy Edwards in all of my ideas. Is my mind trying to tell me something?
Anyways, enjoy!
By the way - oh yeah, I didn't write Btw (other than just then) - I don't own anything twilight related, not even a movie. What the hell?
Prologue
…
The taste of the warm blood becomes so overwhelming it numbs all my senses, although my feeding instincts are warning me to stay alert and protect my prey from outward threats. Before I realize it, I am ripped away from my prey by another force, my stone body crashing into the ceiling not 5 metres away from my rightful kill, before gravity pushes me down from the splintered cavity. I land in a heap on the hardwood floor; my body leaves an imprint that threatens to cave into the hollow space beneath. The blood I had been so eagerly consuming seeps from my mouth, its taste distracting me until the source empties.
The euphoria of the kill dissipates as I witness the threat place its hand around the prey's mangled neck, and with a sombre finality, snaps its wrist and stops the beat that pounds in my head. My gaze turns red.
I stand up from my huddled posture and lunge at the vampire, growls escape my chest; but the thief stands up and has me trapped under its hold before I manage to take my revenge. I hiss and claw at the vampire's arms, desperate to behead the fiend for taking what was mine. The vampire keeps calling out for an Edward, it begs him to gain his senses and come back – is this me?
I ignore its cries and sees that it has weakened its hold for a split second; just enough for me to slip out and tear off the hand that had touched my kill. It's tormenting cry seems to summon others who growl at the scene, while one particular figure lets out an inhumane growl akin to a burning vampire. In a millisecond he pushes me away from the handless vampire, and crouches over it protectively as if it was something precious. This seems to awaken the other vampires from their surprise; the two males appear over here and lift me up, securing a strong grip around each of my arms as I thrash around. They drag me away from the mess of the front hallway to the back room, exiting a glass door to the pine scent of the outdoors.
I still have the two huddling vampires in my sight, as well as the two other females surrounding them like a protective barrier. The male seems to have reattached the hand to who I can now recognize is a short female. They lie together in an embrace, clutching each other tightly.
She deserves to die! Go back and finish her!
The male senses my growing hostility and turns his head, and instead of receiving anger, I see him look upon me with mistrust.
His eyes follow me until the forest trees block my view.
He'll die too – or maybe I shall just do away with everyone. Oh, this will be so fun…
Well, I hope you stay with me on this ride. Just put on your seat belt and hope for the best.
