"Hey Liet, want to go shopping today?" Poland asked as he walked into Lithuania's bedroom. However, he paused when he saw that the nation who was normally an early riser was still in bed and wearing his pajamas, despite it being past noon. On his right side was a trash can filled to the brim with used tissues. Lithuania grabbed a tissue from the box beside him and loudly blew his nose before addressing the Polish man.

"Sorry Po, I can't. I'm really sick today," Lithuania said in a hoarse voice. Then he paused and looked at Poland in confusion.

"How did you get into my house?" he asked. Poland rolled his eyes.

"You gave me a key, like, forever ago. Don't you remember?"

"Yes, but as I recall, you lost it the day after I gave it to you."

Poland shrugged. "So I used the spare key you keep under the doormat. Really, Liet, you need to find a better hiding spot. Literally anyone could just walk in and you wouldn't even know it."

"Apparently," mumbled Lithuania. He then started coughing, which caused a now concerned Poland to walk over to him, carefully avoiding the used tissues.

"Hey, are you alright?" he asked. Lithuania nodded.

"Yeah, I'll be fine, but you should probably go home. I don't want you to get sick too."

Poland waved his hand in the air dismissively. "Pssh, don't worry about me, Liet. My immune system is like, amazing. In fact," he paused, grinning. "I'm going to stay here with you and totally nurse you back to health!"

"Uh, Poland, that's very nice of you, but you really don't have to do that," Lithuania said quickly. All he wanted was a day of peace and quiet to allow his body to recuperate, and with Poland around, that was unlikely to happen.

"Too late, I'm staying!" Poland said cheerfully. Before Lithuania could protest, Poland grabbed his face and pulled him into a long, hard kiss. Lithuania froze in surprise for a moment, before eagerly kissing him back. He ran his fingers through Poland's hair, causing the blond to move in even closer until he was practically sitting on his lap. After a few moments, the Polish man pulled away, leaving Lithuania out of breath and blushing profusely.

"Do you need anything?" Poland asked, smirking.

"Um, w-water would be nice," Lithuania stuttered out. Poland then leaned over to give him a kiss on the forehead. "Be right back," he winked before heading for the kitchen.

Well, maybe this won't be so bad, Lithuania thought. Sure, Poland can be selfish sometimes, but he means well. Perhaps I should give him a chance. He can be really sweet when he wants to be.

Lithuania gave Poland a bright smile when he returned to let him know he was happy he was there. However, his expression quickly turned to one of horror when he saw that all too familiar glint in his eye and a bucket of water instead of a glass.

"Poland, don't you dare-" he was cut off as the mischievous blond dumped the bucket over his head, soaking him from head to toe.

"Oh my God, Liet, you should totally see your face right now!" Poland said in between bouts of laughter. The Lithuanian brushed his now soaking wet hair out of his face and gave the Polish man the darkest look he had ever seen.

"Uh, Liet?" Poland said, now laughing nervously. "It was just a joke. No hard feelings, right?"

"Poland," Lithuania said in a dangerously calm tone. "I'm going to give you five seconds to get out."

"Come on, Liet. You gotta learn to laugh at yourself sometimes-"

Lithuania got out of bed and started moving towards the blond, causing him to let out an unmanly squeak.

"I'm serious," Lithuania said darkly. "Five-"

And that was all Poland heard before he did what any sane person would've done in that situation, and ran like hell.
