Based off the song, "Secret" by The Pierces. Just a oneshot. Nothing much.

"Sora?"

"Yeah, Riku?" the brunette replied, turning to look at his best friend.

The older teen said nothing for a moment, then gazed at his friend with such a serious expression on his face that Sora immediately stopped smiling.

"Riku…?"

"Can you keep a secret?"

Sora stared deep into Riku's eyes and nodded. "Yes, of course."

"Do you swear it on your life, Sora?" Riku growled, stepping too close for comfort.

"Y-yeah."

Riku looked at him, then seemed satisfied after a moment. He leaned over and began to whisper into the brunette's ear…

Sora laughed through his cell phone, listening to Kairi's giggles on the other line. Finally, he calmed down and let her speak.

"Is that really true? He really said that to you?!"

"Yeah. I can't believe him, can you?" Sora snorted.

"Well, he's ridiculous. I can't believe him…" the red head trailed off.

Sora sat up on his bed, a frown on his face as he waited for her to speak. "Kairi…?"

"Hold on…I heard something. Stay on." she said.

He waited patiently, listening as his friend walked through her house, her bare feet loud over the phone. Silence ensued…

"Must have been a cat outside or something." Kairi laughed. "Sorry about that."

"Don't worry about it." Sora answered, smiling.

"Now back to what Riku sai-" The line went dead.

The teenage boy blinked, then pulled the phone from his ear and stared at it shock. What had happened? He shrugged, deciding it was nothing; she would call him back later and explain.

He tossed the phone to the floor, then crawled into bed, yawning. He felt so tired…he couldn't wait to see Kairi and talk to her about Riku's secret. He closed his eyes, a breeze floating into his room from his open window, caressing his cheek. He smiled slightly and snuggled his head deeper into his pillow.

"Two can keep a secret…when one of them is dead."

Sora's eyes shot open at the voice that was above his head, and found himself looking up at Riku, his eyes narrowed. Sora's heart hammered in his chest.

"Riku…what are you doing here? It's late."

Riku didn't answer his question. Instead, he raised his hand, where a kitchen knife was held in it. Sora's heart stopped beating for a second when he saw there was blood on it.

"Taking this one to the grave, Sora?" Riku gave him a mad grin. "Two can keep a secret, right?" He leaned over the helpless brunette. "But only if one of them is dead."

Sora didn't dare move, but his eyes were completely focused between Riku's psychotic expression and the bloodied knife poised over his body. He wished he could take back what he had told Kairi.

"You're lucky I got to her before she told that secret. She promised to lock it up with her into her grave." Riku chuckled. "And, this time, she swore it truthfully."

Sora gulped, curling up under his blanket. He wanted to take back telling Riku's secret to anyone at all…now it seemed to be too late to take back such a mistake. Riku's hand – the one with the knife – twitched…and Sora knew he should have kept the secret.

Riku tossed the knife aside, brushing his hands together in satisfaction. He gazed down at his new doll, which was sleeping peacefully, sprawled on the bed.

"You swore you'd never tell…right, Sora?" he asked, smiling darkly.

With that said, he picked up the small doll, then carried it home with him, where his other doll was already laying. He couldn't wait to tell them all his precious secrets…

Cause two can keep a secret if one of them is dead...
