i wrote this to remind people of who we leave behind when we die. we leave thoes we love, those who we care about. i hate it when people kill themselves because, even though i dont show it, i feel as though i could have done something to help them. idk, be their friend or something.
Disclaimer: i dont own Beyblade...blah blah blah...
Don't Leave Me Behind
By hyper leaping frog
The rain drizzled down from the sky, soon turning in to a downpour. No one was outside, except a boy who sat idle on a swing. His tears mixed with the rain. His long dark hair clung to his soft face. There was nothing left for him. His love was gone. He had left him. But the boy just couldn't get the image of the one he loved lying dead on the floor out of his head. He remembered that day so clearly.
He wasn't supposed to be home for another hour, but he came back from his friends' house early.
"Kai?" He called out. "Are you here?" He heard a clatter upstairs and followed the noise. When he peeked into the bedroom he and Kai shared, he froze. Kai lay on his bed, blood soaking the covers around him. A sharp knife lay on the ground. He gasped and Kai turned his head to look at him.
"No," Kai whispered. "No, Rei! Don't look!" His voice was scratchy and dull. He struggled to breath. Rei, eyes wide with fear, ran to him. He leapt onto the bed and threw himself across Kai's chest and wept. Kai groggily raised his hand and placed it upon his back, effectively soaking Rei's shirt in blood from his wrist.
"I'll miss you," he strained. "Rei, I was always to weak to tell you. I – I love you. I always have."
Rei looked shocked for a moment but then began to smile with tears streaming.
"I love you, too, Kai! Don't go! Don't die!" Kai smiled sadly.
"I'll….never….leave. Take….necklace…." He glanced at the bed next to him where a small clear bottle lay. Inside it was a red liquid, presumably Kai's blood. The bottle was attached to a thin golden chain. Rei knew he'd wear it and never take it off.
With his last remaining strength, Kai squeezed his love in a one-arm hug. Rei leaned down and kissed Kai gently and unskillfully on the lips. "Bye, kitten…" With that his strength left him.
"No! Don't leave me behind! No! Kai!" With his scream, in burst paramedics and the rest of his Bayblade team along side them. His team looked on in tears and they took Rei into their arms. They cried and told him it was okay to cry. But Rei's tears were already dry.
Rei couldn't stand to go to the funeral and his team didn't force him. He just sat on the swings in the park. It was where he and Kai used to hang out and talk.

hope you liked it! please review or ill stuff you with mud. (or ill chop off your head but you'll just have to live decapitatied because death is on strike. she says no one loves her and she want to kill herself (which of course is impossible) so now no one will die...or at least thats what it says in the book im reading...)
