And as the corporate giant known as Nickelodeon sent word across the nation, something they never thought would happen..happened.

GIR glanced about to ZIM as the Irken held back tears. "GIR," he said in a shaky voice, "Promise me not to forget."

"Forget what master?" The robot was very confused, confused more than ever before. "Do not forget why were were sent here.."

~Just minutes before~

"Yes, almighty Tallest! What is your message?" ZIM spoke in a proud tone, proud to be an Irken warrior.

There was nothing but cheer and glee in the Red's voice as he spoke, "We are scrubbing your mission ZIM. You have failed and we knew you would." "But.." He stammered, trying to speak before the communication link broke.

A mere day or two passed before petitions were signed in numerous numbers, and yet they claim the ratings were horrible. And what about those other shows, the other shows whom only toddlers watch. Find one person who thinks ZIM is merely a cartoon…no, it is different.

~Back to the present time~

"Dib..please come to the door." ZIM stood at his enemy's door, knocking vigorously as he wanted to say good-bye for one last time. "ZIM, I have my Anti-alien spray! I'll use it unless you leave now." "I do not care if you had a beam that would turn me into a horrible human slave, since that's all I am worth." In seconds, Dib rushed outside expecting a trap. But he found no trap, but a green child fighting tears back.

And this, like ZIM, was how the fans felt as across the nation the news was spread. Many said, "No, it's just a hoax" but even a hoax would trigger something like this. Something great enough, hopefully to bring it back..to see it end with a final episode..To see it grow with the theatrical movie..to see it expand with the release of a video game..

"Good-bye, Dib..it's been fun." And as ZIM would exit the planet in his Voot Cruiser, he'd begin to cry and was not ashamed of it. He was heading somewhere he could belong, somewhere where no one would belittle him because of his mistakes. GIR stood by Dib's feet, crying as he watched his master leave him. "I'll miss you, ZIM.."

We'll miss you ZIM is what the Earth children cried out..
