I was feelings depressed, so I wrote a depressing oneshot for this rairpair. I can remember the entire scene in the SoO, so some details may be a bit off.

"Ji? Ji is here?" Aysa asked, worry apparent in her usually calm voice. If Ji was here, that meant that he would either be fighting with Garrosh, or with the rebels... Unless something bad was happening to him...

King Varian's words echoed in her head- "Even those you might have loved are now your sworn enemies." Did that still apply in a situation like this? She couldn't think straight. Trying to relax, remembering that she was a Tushui pandaren and had to think things through carefully, she followed the Alliance champions as they battled their way through the streets of Orgimmar.

"Ji!"

He was kneeling on the floor, barley conscious, his fur covered in thick red blood.

"They are going to execute him!" Aysa cried the moment she realized what was going on. She had to do something... She could either charge in and rescue him, and risk her own death, or wait and think of a plan. She decided on the latter, with the Tushui philosophy in mind.

No... She didn't know what to do... She was taking too long... Ji would be killed... She was too late...

"JI! NO!" she cried, bolting forward in panic.

"Aysa!" the young pandaren called, waving a scroll high above his head, "I got in!"

Aysa turned to face her friend, showing him a similar scroll, tied with a red ribbon. "So did I." Her voice was calm, without a trace of Ji's excitement.

"Aren't you happy?" the brown-and-white pandaren asked, tilting his head to one side in confusion.

"Of course I am," Aysa explained, "but I'm not as hyper about everything as you are."

Ji huffed a bit at this, but the grin didn't leave his face as he continued, "Anyway, we'll still be friends, right, even though you're obviously going to choose Tushui. I mean, sure the Huojin and Tushui are rivals, but we can still talk and train together!"

"Sure, whatever," Aysa said, rolling her eyes and joining him as he ran off to find the other new students.

In her panic, rushing to get to Ji's broken body, Aysa didn't see the kor'kron raise his weapon to strike her down too. The world seemed to stop as she stared into Ji's dying eyes.

I'm sorry, was the last thought that ran through her mind before her vision faded to black. I'm so sorry...
