Me: The idea may be a little weird but I think it's original. I got inspired trying to sleep while standing in class.

Brick: You're going to hurt yourself that way. :-/

Me: Oh whatever, now get back out there so we can start. I don't own anything except the idea.

Brick sat on the building ledge, just admiring the stars; even with the light pollution, you can still see them clearly. This actually was his thinking spot, where could get away from the family and clear his head.

Then a familiar streak raced across the night sky; to other people, they would've thought it was a shooting star and made a wish. He knew better. Launching himself off the ledge, he chased after it or should he say… her.

"Yo Pinky, wait up!" He cried. She kept flying, not even turning to look. Not the first time he's been ignored.

"I said wait up," he repeated, now beside her.

Still no response.

"Hello? Earth to Blossom?" snapping his fingers.

Silence.

Brick knew something was wrong. Taking a closer inspection, he noticed her eyes were closed; she's asleep! A perfect time to destroy her.

As thoughts of getting rid of the pink puff filled his mind with glee, he failed to notice Blossom bank right and almost hit a skyscraper. Even when asleep, she could find her way better than he did awake!

Brick growled and sped up; now in front of her. Somehow sensing his presence, she stopped; a little too close for his comfort.

She looked so peaceful sleeping, not like the usual scowl he'll get. He took in every feature, memorizing it without realizing. Her long auburn hair flapped slowing in the wind and her creamy skin was pale under the moonlight. In the back of his mind, he silently wished for those eyes to open so he could see those beautiful cotton-candy pink irises. Maybe, just this once, Brick could be nice to Blossom.

Still under the spell that is sleep, Blossom reached out and took his hand; Brick felt his face heat at the touch.

Blossom mumbled something in her sleep and, if not for the super hearing, Brick would've missed it. "Brick, I've always liked you. I just wish you would come out of that hard shell of yours and be friends, maybe more."

If was possible, Brick blushed even more. Blossom had just confessed to him; even though she was unconscious, it still counted. What should he do now? Should he just attack her, wake her on the spot, or bring her home without anyone noticing?

The last option seemed to be the best way to go. But who said he couldn't have any fun with this?

"Blossom," he whispered. "Let us dance the night away." A smile spread across her features as he took hold of her waist and began to dance, leading her home.

Tomorrow is a new day and Brick will be counting the minutes away, just to see Blossom smile up at him.

Me: hmm, maybe not my best work. Actually I had a much better idea in my head but I lost the rough draft and had to rewrite it by memory and ended up with this being very cliché. Going to have to work on that later.

Blossom: o/o

Me: Um, are you okay?

Blossom: Yeah… never been better. *walks out but still blushing*

Me: Ok~, if you like this story, review!
