Elle craned her neck to the side, hoping to be able to get a better glimpse at Sawyer's shirtlessnes. She sighed. It simply wasn't happening. Her husband was both the unstoppable force and the immovable object. She supposed she'd give in. Thank God for TiVo.

"Yes, darling?" Elle asked, looking Gabriel in the eye. He had that look on his face. That look when he wanted something.

"I recall us having a discussion less than a month ago over an impending event of great importance." He shut the television off with his telekinesis. "Way more important than Craphole Island."

Elle pouted. She never insulted his favorite shows if she thought they sucked. Except that she still called the Tudors "the Tooters", but whatever. Some people didn't like potty humor as much as she did.

"I recall that too." Elle said, smiling sweetly at him. Her Annual Birthday Promise. Every year for Gabriel's birthday, Elle had promised she'd do anything he wanted. Last year he wanted a strip tease. The year before that was a threesome. Things were still kinda awkward between them and Peter, but that was fine by her. Peter was getting a little too needy anyway. The house was so quiet without him mooning over little Noah. Refreshing, really.

"Well." Gabriel started purposefully. "I've decided that I need another one of my fantasies fulfilled."

Elle couldn't contain her enthusiasm. She leapt from the couch and threw her arms around his neck. "Ooh, which one, baby?" She was practically purring. Even just hearing him say "fantasy" was enough to get her going these days. She felt silly, worrying that after they were married their sex life would dwindle. "Do you want to see me with another girl? Maybe we can try out some new toys? Or is a little Restricted Access up your alley this year?" She turned around and rubbed her ass against his groin. It was no secret she hated anal, but it was his birthday after all.

"Actually, I was thinking more along the lines of this..." Gabriel pulled something out of his back pocket and handed it to Elle.

She balked. "Are you serious?!" Elle held the brochure out in front of her body like it was offending her senses. "Of all the things you want me to do... I never thought you were serious."

"Well, I am." Gabriel said, pulling her closer. "And it would really make this birthday a special one."

Elle seemed unconvinced. "But think of the danger this entails. Think of our son. Our baby. I don't think I want him to be around if..."

"He will sooner or later, and let's face it, babe." Gabrel tried to reassure her, "We've all been waiting for this."

Elle only pouted. She did NOT want to do this.

"Please?" Gabriel implored. "If not for me, do it for the boy."

"Fine." Elle conceded. She opened up the brochure and looked it over. "I guess if I want to be a good Mommy I should learn to cook."

Gabriel smiled. Cooking courses proved to later be a terrible idea, but that's what home owner's insurance is for.
