I woke up on the couch coughing and holding my head. It really wasn't pleasant to be sick but here I was. My neck was sore and my legs wouldn't allow me to get up for anything. With this sickness decreasing my ability's of investigation and research, Kira had an advantage for his killings. What a vile situation. What was worse is that I couldn't even stand. I had to wait for the possible Kira, Light, to wake up and assist me.

I closed my eyes and placed my hand on my stomach. Staring up at the white ceiling made me feel even more insecure and useless. It reminded me that I was laying still, unmoving and quite sick. My eyelids were about to cover my sight when I heard footsteps down the hall. I forced my eyes to stay open as the light brown haired head of Light appeared and then the rest of his body. I stared at him with my bored eyes. He was approaching me with a slow quiet walk. It was pretty dark so he might have mistaken me for being asleep. I decided to play along. I closed my eyes and let my head tilt more into the pillow. I tried to stay as still as I possibly could.

"He must be having a bad dream. He's fidgeting a lot." He whispered. I then realized that I should start fidgeting so I did look like I was having a nightmare. I made small whimpering sounds. "I wonder what's going on in that fools head." Light murmured and I felt his hand rest on my cheek. I almost leaped up but I was too weak so I stayed there. "It's okay." He whispered.

I felt his breath on my neck. His face was surprisingly close to mine. He brushed his fingers through my black ruffled hair. Then his lips pressed against mine. A shudder rushed through my back making me arch my spine and moan a little bit. "L?" He murmured into my mouth. I slowly opened my eyes and looked into his. They were full of passion and worry. "What were you dreaming about?" I jumped a little bit because I had no answer. "Nothing." I tried sitting up but was rewarded a sharp and shocking pain that spiraled about my stomach and I cried out in agony.

"L! Lie down! Your not well enough to move freely!" He pushed me back down and my head lightly hit the pillow and as soon as my hair collided with the soft pillow, warm lips were attached to mine in an instant. I closed my eyes almost immediately.

Light had taken advantage of the fact my breathing was harsh and slid his tongue into my mouth. I gasped a bit and then moaned into his mouth. He explored me for a little bit before pulling away. "Why Light?" I muttered. "Why are taking advantage of my sickness?" Light chuckled and smiled down on me. He observed my eyes before whispering, "Because when you are well, I won't get a chance to ever do this." He stood up and took off for the hallway. I blushed and stuffed my face into the pillow. I was ruined. I was embarrassed. How could I have let him do that? Why did it have to happen while I was sick in the first place?

Nobody said I would resist when I was well again either...
