This is another poem….this is the one about Caine and his adoptive parents. Unfortunately I couldn't find the original so I had to rewrite. I was rewriting it on the way back from a track meet, so I was kind of tired so I hope it doesn't show. Tell me what you think, and if I should continue. I have about to more poems started. Oh and I'm also writing a story about Caine and his adoptive parents. It will be more of a father son story…I think.

CAINE'S POV

Dad you were always working,

And mom those pairs of shoes,

In the closet in your room,

Meant more to you then I did.

I've taken over the FAZY,

Got good grades,

And did my best without a rest,

Yet nothing I do seems to impress.

My birthday has been forgotten,

You sent someone else to get

And drop me off at Coates.

The words "I love you," have neve,

Slipped through your teeth,

I was sent to Coates,

For no reason at all,

You said it was because I smoked pot,

That day on the boat,

But I knew better,

I knew you didn't want me.

I hope you can see me through this wall,

I hope you know I turned out like this

Because of you.

Part of me wants you to

Die a horrible death,

But the little boy in me cries out

All I want is for you to be impressed,

For you to be proud,

After all everything I do is for you.

THANKS FO READING PLEASE REVIEW! =)
