Hello, everyone! It's been a while since I've put any real effort into a fanfic, so I thought I'd start with Bianca DeSousa from Degrassi! I absolutely love her character because I feel like there's more to it than we know. :) Anyway, here's the first part to a multichapter story I might continue. Let me know what you think!

In other news, also coming soon: How Vegas Night SHOULD Have Happened

And now back to the story... :D

"Fuck," said a girl with curly black hair as she bounded out of her house, dodging the plates being thrown and the screams echoing from the kitchen. "Can they ever just stop?"

The girl made her way down the street, her body trembling. It was a cold November night, and every step she took made the snow beneath her squish. Every breath she took and exhaled could be seen. The sky, full of all different types of stars making up constellations made her grimace: a constellation was like a team, and a team was exactly what she wasn't a part of.

Possibilities. Opportunities. Every teacher at Degrassi told her, told everyone that that was what they had in store for them. That if they worked hard enough, it all would pay off. But the girl knew better, she always knew better… Adults could not be trusted. Nobody could.

A car squealed up beside the sidewalk that the girl was walking up. "Hey, Bee! What are you doing out so late without a proper escort?"

She scowled. Ass.

"What did you just call me?"

Apparently she had said it aloud.

The boy who was addressing her had hair that stood up, something that would seem unhygienic, and a malevolent look in his eyes. "C'mon, Bee, talk to me."

"No, Fitz. What are you doing here?"

"Got kicked out again. Came to see if you wanted to head to the Ravine."

The Ravine was where all the kids like them from Degrassi hung out. It was one big party 24/7. The girl couldn't pass up that opportunity; after all, she wouldn't be able to get home until her parents had cooled off again, anyway.

"Bianca? I'm not going to wait forever."

Rolling her eyes, the girl named Bianca threw open the sliding van door and jumped inside, shutting the door behind her. The car zoomed down the street, causing her to lose her balance and fall into someone's lap. "Well, hello there, hot stuff."

"Shut up, Owen. You wouldn't be able to tell who's hot stuff if it hit you in the dick." There was never one idiot, always two: Bianca could feel Owen's smirk on the back of her head as Fitz continually disobeyed traffic laws. She climbed onto the other side of Owen.

"Is Ron Ron going to be there?" Bianca asked absentmindedly. Ron Ron was her oldest friend; they had known each other since they were toddlers and their parents weren't always totally insane. She considered him her best friend, while Fitz and Owen were merely cronies for when she had to endure the hell called school.

"I don't know," growled Fitz. Bianca crinkled her brows in confusion but ignored Fitz's jibe.

"Man, I just need this," said Owen. Though the van was dark, Bianca felt him relax, let down his guard. "The 'rents are terrible."

"Tell me about it," voiced Fitz from the driver's seat.

At last the van stopped, and Fitz practically threw open his own door and went to open the back's. "Welcome to the Ravine," he said with a smile.

A grin erupted on Bianca's face. Paradise.
