It was Christmas Eve and Hermione and Sirius were doing their last minute shopping. They already turned Diagon Alley completely upside down hunting for wizarding bargains, but they decided to root around muggle London. Deciding to act incognito as muggles, they took the metro to Oxford Street.

Grabbing Sirius's hand, Hermione pulled Sirius into Debenhams, a large department store. They weaved their way through various departments, being hit by several packed bags of other late shoppers' purchases.

Hermione engrossed herself in a large display of brightly colored scarves, hats, and gloves while Sirius took that moment of solitude to wander around to store in relatively close proximity to his girlfriend. He couldn't believe all the holiday themed items that muggles have created! There were Santa shaped spatulas, holiday underwear, hats in crazy shapes, and even…

"Well this is interesting…" said Sirius, fingering a candy cane striped headband that had a springy extension from the top that dangled a sprig of fake mistletoe.

Feeling mighty proud of his discovery, Sirius put it on his head. He snuck up behind Hermione, who was now looking at purses, and wrapped his arms around her waist.

"Sirius, you scared me!" she shrieked in a playful tone. She looked up at his face, noticing the Christmas-overkill headband.

"What have we here?" she sassed.

"I believe, love, that we've been caught under the mistletoe!" he smirked. He bent down and captured her lips in a sweet and loving kiss. Hermione sighed into his mouth, loving the thrill of kissing him in public. When the kiss ended, Hermione's hormones began to surge.

"I think we're done here!" she said, tossing all her items on the closest display, grabbing Sirius's hand once again and pulling him out the door to find a safe place to disapparate back home.
