Etcetera and her Tugger

JEMIMA: If there's one cat we all love ELECTRA: It has got to be she

VICTORIA: Spotted white fur?

ETCETERA: Well that'll have to be me!

RUMPELTEAZER: Who else would have such fanatical vibration?

ELECTRA: And a spontaneous, crazy sweet craved sensation!

RUMPELTEAZER: With her heart full of devotion, emotion, of glee-

ETCETERA: I hope those are reasons you simply love me

JEMIMA: But there's one little thing-

RUMPELTEAZER: It's a bit of a bugger...

VICTORIA: That nothing-

ELECTRA: And we mean nothing...

VICTORIA: Separates Etcetera and her Tugger

(song slows into a dramatic, opera like solo piece)

ETCETERA: Oh when he comes out, love fills my air

And I develop a strange, and obsessive mad stare

His beautiful black fur embraced with wild lion's hair,

And his eyes dark and deepened so faaaaiiiirrr....

There's nothing more that I want. . .

Except maybe a juggler!

(pauses, and looks at her fellow cats who are in shock. She bites her lip apologetically and continues)

No there's nothing Just nothing I want more than Tugger

(song goes back to a faster, more enjoyable beat)

JEMIMA: She's sweet

JEMIMA AND VICTORIA: And sympathetic

ELECTRA: She's a lovable kitten

RUMPELTEAZER: With not one ounce of her is not as much as is smitten

VICTORIA: She's festive with a version of diversity all her own

JEMIMA: And the cats behind the alley of the university, she is known.

ELECTRA: She's excitable- exhilarating!

JEMIMA: Not one ounce infuriating!

VICTORIA: But there's one little thing

RUMPELTEAZER: Oh, how it's a bugger

VICTORIA: That nothing

ELECTRA: Frightfully nothing

VICTORIA: Separates Etcetera and her Tugger

(song again slows)

ETCETERA: Oh what can I do, there seems nothing else.

There's very little I can do to get by

Underneath this exterior, I have another side

Trying to figure out who exactly am I?

THE RUM TUM TUGGER: Etcetera's her name, and I couldn't be prouder

If I could, and I would, scream her name even louder

She's honest and keen, reliable and there for

Quite anything, there's no kitten I care for moooreee T

here's nothing more that she wants-

And I wish I could hug her

Nothing would separate-

And that's a promise

Etcetera and her Tugger
