Marcus Flint stared out the small and only widow in the safe house.

He could hear the wind blowing outside and he longed to be on his broom flying in the night.

But it was too dangerous, someone could see him and then he'd be dead.

He sighed he'd been in hiding for only a few days but it felt like months.

He and few other Slytherins hadn't wanted to join voldemort but also knew that the order wouldn't trust them.

So they all went into hiding together waiting for the end of the war.

Marcus hated being locked up, it went against everything he was.

He heard something move behind him and turned around quickly wand out in front,

he sighed and put his wand back when he saw who it was.

"Malfoy what are you doing here?" he asked.

"Well" Malfoy began shifting from one foot to the other "I eh I just thought, I mean what I wanted to um".

The boy kept his eyes on the floor Marcus raised an eyebrow at Malfoy's obvious discomfort,

Draco Malfoy having trouble saying what he wanted, now there was a surprise.

"I'm waiting" Marcus said and Malfoy looked up as if he'd finally decided to do something.

He took two quick steps over to Marcus leaned up and brought his lips to Marcus's.

The kiss only lasted a moment and when they broke apart Malfoy blushed.

"Yeah well um, Goodnight Flint" he said before quickly leaving the room.

Marcus stood staring at the spot Malfoy had been standing and slowly brought his hands up to his lips and smiled.

"Goodnight Malfoy" he whispered, maybe being stuck here wouldn't be so bad after all.
