Percy- "Jacobe doesn't own any of the characters or the franchise of the Percy Jackson series. If he did he would be sitting in a mansion right now and not writing fanfiction."

Prologue

All is good in Camp Half-Blood, Kronos' essence has been scattered into millions of pieces, the campers are getting some R and R, and the Stolls are playing there pranks as always. Everything seemed right to Percy, but little did he know that the he was going to be in for another surprise.

Percy's pov

"ANNABETH!" I shout "Where are you!" I run through the what looks like a library looking for the girl of my life. While running through the maze of bookshelves I hear a scream pierce the air. I immediately recognize the scream as Annabeth's. I run toward the scream, not even thinking that it could be a trap. Naturally it was, as soon as I entered the room a cage of obsidian is around me. "Crap" I think aloud "obsidian is the only thing that celestial bronze can't cut through." that's when I see Annabeth in the center in the room. She is not moving, hopefully unconscious, with blood all over her face.

"Well, well, well Perseus we meet again, do we." says a dark figure in the corner that I didn't even notice until he spoke. He is someone I have never seen before. He is about six foot, has brown hair, and has hazel eyes. He speaks with an accent that sounds like it's from Tennessee or Texas.

"Who are you." I ask. "I'm just an old family friend, you could say."He says with a dark tone. Now that puzzles me, it could be any number of monsters or enemies my dad has faced.

"What do you want with my Annabeth" I say, trying to control my tone which sounds like it has tremor in my voice. "Oh I just want to make you suffer for what you have done to me" He says with a with a grin that makes me even more scared for not myself, but for Annabeth.

Then all of the sudden he has a dagger made of stygian iron, a metal that will suck the soul out of anyone who touches the blade. The shadows seem to get darker and the room seem to get colder when the blade came out. The only other person who has a weapon like that is Nico de Angelo. My eyes go wide terror as he walks toward Annabeth.

"Scared for your little girlfriend, Percy, because you should. She will suffer for your mistakes, how does that make you feel." "I don't even remember what I did, but I am sorry for whatever I did to you just please, please, don't hurt Annabeth." I say, close to tears. "Oh it's to late to beg, the deeds have been done." And with that he plunges the blade into her neck. Just as the blade enters her skin I wake with a sudden start.

"It was just a dream, a really really terrible dream." I say with sweat beading my face. It feels like the dream was signifying something, like an omen. I shiver at the thought and carry on my morning rituals. After I finish getting ready I go down to the dining pavilion for some breakfast. On my way Malcom (Annabeth's maternal half brother) runs toward me with a wild look in his eyes. I stop him and ask "Malcom, calm down, just tell me what has happened."

Anna...Annabeth has dis..disappeared" he gasps out.
