Harley sat on the curb.

Joker looked out in the rain at her.

He sighed.

She looked back at the window,

And he quickly pulled it shut.

She sighed.

Joker leaned against the wall next to the window.

Suddenly, he heard a voice.

"A day without you... is like a day without a smile.

The days without you.. are the days I frown.

A day we're apart cuts through me.

The day I feel i've lost my precious clown."

He opened the curtains,

and looked out the window.

Harley was now standing.

She stared up into the sky,

And hugged her own shoulders.

"My sweetheart, my Mistah J.

I don't know if you can hear me, but please console me.

Do you really care?

No matter how many times I plea,

I just get scowls and frowns."

Harley turned toward the window.

She stared at him.

She smiled.

"But Mistah J?

You always smile when i'm not looking,

or at least you think i'm not.

And I know our love is real,

not made or fake or bought."

She turned away,

And he closed the curtain.

"But I still wonder,

"Do you really love me?"

She sat back down,

and rested her head on her hands.

"A day without the pain

A day without the crazy

A day we lose the insane

in our heads…

A day without being punished

A day without you hurtin' me

is a day I forget the the fun-ish

side of you…

I wouldn't live,

I wouldn't breathe,

I wouldn't see,

I wouldn't feel.

Because it's like...

A day without you,

is a day without me.

A day without you,

Is a day without Harley."

She stood up again.

Joker looked out a window near the door..

She picked up her bag.

She began to walk away.

He opened it.

"A day without me,

Is the day I lose my Harley."

She looked back at him.

She smiled.

He smiled wider.

She ran back into the hideout.

Joker closed the door,

And pulled her into a hug.

"I knew ya had a good side, Mistah J. I knew you couldn't be that bad."

He flicked out a knife

and pet her hair with it.

"I know, Harls. I know."

He held the knife against her side.

She her eyes twinkled.

"Yes, sir!"

She quickly ran further into the warehouse.

Joker smiled and followed.

Heh, She bought it.

"Minx?"

As if.

"Gullible, lovesick, torture doll?"

That makes more sense.
