Kate, she'd looked a lot like Kelly. The only difference between Kelly and Kate was that Kate had brown hair. Kelly had been hard working, so had Kate, Kelly loved Christmas, so had Kate, Kelly's father was Gibbs, Kate'd thought of Gibbs like a father, and Kelly adored roses, as had Kate.

He'd listened to Kate hum Silent Night every Christmas he worked with her. She'd said many times that it was her favorite Christmas Carol. She was so much like Kelly it scared him.

"Silent night, holy night
All is calm, all is bright
Round yon Virgin Mother and Child
Holy Infant so tender and mild
Sleep in heavenly peace
Sleep in heavenly peace

Silent night, holy night!
Shepherds quake at the sight
Glories stream from heaven afar
Heavenly hosts sing Alleluia!
Christ, the Savior is born
Christ, the Savior is born

Silent night, holy night
Son of God, love's pure light
Radiant beams from Thy holy face
With the dawn of redeeming grace
Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth
Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth," Kelly held out the last note on birth. She smiled as she danced softly around the alter.

"Jesus Lord at Thy birth," she finished. Everyone clapped as Kelly bowed. She smiled up at Gibbs with that beautiful smile. "Good night everyone, and have a Merry Christmas!" Kelly shouted into the microphone attached to her cheek.

"Hey princess," Gibbs said as he scooped his daughter into his arms. She giggled as he twirled her around.

"Hi daddy," the little angel said with a smile.

Gibbs sighed as he looked around the bullpen, at his sleeping team members. Tony had fallen asleep at his desk, McGee was sleeping on his chair, and Ziva was asleep on the floor using Tony's jacket as a pillow. He got up and walked over to Ziva. He squatted down and looked at her. It reminded him of Kate, a few days before she died. He smiled lightly and laid his coat across her. He stroked her hair for a moment then walked back towards his desk. He stopped when he heard something. He turned to see Ziva humming in her sleep, she was humming Silent Night.

"Daddy, can I have a puppy for Christmas?" Kelly Gibbs asked with her big puppy dog eyes.

"We'll see Princess," Gibbs said ruffling her hair.

Gibbs snapped out of his daydream when Ziva woke up. She looked up at him and smiled lightly. "Merry Christmas Gibbs," she said softly as she fell back asleep.

"Merry Christmas Daddy!"

"Merry Christmas Leo." (Shannon)

"Merry Christmas Jethro." (Jenny)

"Have a Merry Christmas Gibbs." (Kate)

Gibbs sighed as he looked back around at his team. 'One by one,' he though bitterly. First it was Kelly and Shannon, his wife and daughter. Then it was Kate, a girl he'd loved almost as much as Kelly. Finally Jenny, the only other person he could ever see himself loving as much as Shannon.

One by one they'd died. All of them were gone. Yes, it was a Merry Christmas indeed.

A/N I'm sad, because like Gibbs I'm not having a Christmas this year because the one person in my family that really loved Christmas died two years ago. Merry Christmas Everyone, and a Happy New Year.
