The air was cool. It wrapped around my body like silk, trying to nip out all of the warmth I had stored inside my skin. Letting out a deep breathe I looked up at the sky. The morning sun was yawning, spreading its golden rays of light for us all to see. It has been almost five years since I have been here. Five very long years since I have been to the hidden leaf village. Oh how I have not missed it. I left who I was there a life time ago. I left everything there without ever looking back.

It was a warm afternoon when the last day of my training came. I remember the sun most of all, how warm and inviting it was when it wrapped its rays of gold around me as it embraced me with its breathe. Tsunade was barking out orders with the faint smell of liquid still on her breathe. She was carelessly tossing attacks at me, that was what she had begun to call her training with me. It was not until a rouge group of ninja tried to take her down out of rage that ended my training with her. The rouge group was strong, to strong for us. I remember I was lying on my back, breathing deeply from the stab wound on my side, I watched my beloved mentor her fall to her knees. Her long blonde hair falling to the dirt in a snowflake motion. I remember the pain in my chest. It was cold and sharp. Then the heat. It burned so bright. I felt a burning sensation on my forehead as I stood on my feet. I do not remember much after that. The next memory I have of that day was when Tsunade was standing over me, yelling at me to stay alive.

I had somehow forced what I thought was the strength of a hundred seals to appear, giving me the strength to kill the rouge ninja to save Tsunade's life. Unlike Tsunade, my mark was blue and vanishes, and appears only when I tap into it. The next day, Tsunade and I were training, but I could not control the new seal. I nearly destroyed half of the training grounds without really trying. I was full of such fear. I could not control my new power. Tsunade didn't really know what to do. I tried talking to my team, team seven which I had been on for my entire career as a shinobi...Naruto and Kakashi they had started to brush me off. I noticed it a few weeks before the fight at the training grounds that they were not really talking me. They would walk away or ignored me on the streets. After the fight I tried talking to them again. I was so scared but they did not want anything to do with me. I remember walking into Tsunade's office, she wouldn't look me in the eye for a long time...she then told me I had to leave. I was a danger to the village. She forced me to leave my home. I fought her, I cried, I begged but she did not changed her mind, I was to go. So I did. I never said goodbye to anyone. I hugged my parents that night and left. I wondered around for a few weeks lost and confused. I remember the pressure in my chest, the pain that I was choking on. Then it came crashing down on my like a cold summers rain...I remember this kind of power, I remember where I felt it. Kaguya Otsutsuki.

I was confused as to why I felt the power she use to hold. The only way I would understand is if I asked her. But Naruto and Sasuke sealed her away. I had to figure out a way to talk to her, I had to. I had to figure out how to control this power inside my chest. I went looking for ways to contact her through the seal she was held under. I then discovered that her two sons were trying to free her, they wanted to set her free from the darkness she was drowning inside. I soon found them, I agreed to help them in exchanged that once she was well enough to have a conversation, I could ask her about my powers. The three of us took off to the village Hidden by Waterfalls which was located in an unnamed country where we were successful in freeing her. I studied under Kaguya Otsutsuki. It took weeks to free her from the corruption of power. The unattainable power I held inside of my seal, combined with her two sons; Hagoromo Otsutsuki and Hamura Otsutsuki we were able to free her. She allowed me to study under her as a thank you for almost killing myself to free her. She become a mother figure towards me, she claims she gave me a gift for almost giving my life up for freeing her. It wasn't until my second and a half year that I figured out what that gift was. The Rinne Sharingan. Remembering back she had a third eye, which held her Rinne Sharingan. She pasted it along to me. She said my bloodline was now special because it was a holder of this gene. I asked her way, she has yet to give me an answer.

She helped me contain my power, she helped my become a better ninja, a better fighter, a better leader, a stronger solider, a better me. I became the head commander of her army, we fought to protect the freedom of our home because freedom is not free, many people have tried to come and take over and all have failed. The village hidden behind the waterfalls became the most peaceful place on earth. It became my home.

But now, I was called back by an old friend. I had no choice. Kaguya was not going to force me to return, she gave me the option to return or stay. I wanted to stay but she taught me better than that. She taught me to help others, and my past needed help. She said I was welcome to come home after my mission was finished. I told her I would be counting the moments until then. I have been traveling for two weeks now. I have not thought about the Leaf Village in such a long time. My parents have moved to the grass village. They have always loved how the grass was so green, it appeared blue. After I left the Leaf village, it took only one year for them to leave. Last I spoke to them they were so happy in there new home, i was so thankful for that. I looked up to the sky. Two years ago my parents were killed by a group of people called the Reapers. I discovered that the group of rouge ninja that attacked Tsunade and me so many years ago, the group belonged to the Leaf village. They were trying to find all the weak villages so they could take them down and rule them. I was trying to get into their group and figure out what their goal was, I was trying to figure out why they were trying to destroy every village that they could wrap their hands around. I blew my cover trying to save my parents, I was to late. I also got my best friend killed that day. I looked forward there it was. The gates to the hidden Leaf Village were right before me. I stood there for a moment. It was time. I took in a deep breathe and walked forward. I showed my paperwork to the guard, showing him that the hokage had summoned me. I thanked him once he allowed me through. He explained to me where to go and I just nodded. I walked forward and looked around. Nothing has changed. New paint here and there but nothing to noticeable. I walked right through. It was noon. Classes were in session so the streets were quite. I walked up the stairs that i walked up a thousand times before. I knocked on the door that I use to ignore and run right past.

"Come in." Her voice, so strong so hard, so annoyed. I opened the door and our eyes locked in moments. We just watched each other. She stood and walked over to me.

"Sakura!" She breathed my name, pulling me into a hug.

"Tsunade. I can not breathe." She let go but held my shoulders.

"Your hair! It is so long! I love it!" She smiled at me. "You have grown older!"

"So have you." That earned me a glare. I gave a light smile. "How have you been?"

"I am well." She said, turning to walk to her deck. I stood in front of her desk.

"Tsunade."

"Yes?"

"What is wrong?"

"Huh?"

"You called me here, you said the Leaf Village was in danger." A sadness fell in her eyes.

"Not now."

"Tsunade-"

"I want to explain it only once. There is a meeting in a week about it. You will find out then."

"Fine." I sighed, knowing her I will not win.

"Good." She sat up in her seat. "Here." She handed me a folder. I opened it. It was full of money and a key card.

"What is this for?"

"Do you expect for me to let you sleep outside? Or to let you go hungry?"

"No." I said. I had planned on staying in the forest, away from the people who call this place home, "Thank you." I looked at the key card, and frowned.

"What is it?"

"This key card belongs to the apartment building Kakashi, Sasuke and Naruto all live in, unless they all moved while I was away."

"Nope, they are all still there. Did you really hope to come here and not run into anyone?"

"Maybe." I muttered.

"You can tell them why you left."

"I know." I muttered.

"In the mean time." Tsunade started, I looked at her. "I have a small mission for you."

"What?"

"I mean, unless you do not want to then, you dont have too. I just thought you may be bored doing nothing for a whole week."

"No, it is fine. I will go." I said looking up at her.

"With a three man team?"

"Sure." I sighed.

"You have a little southern twang in your voice!" Tsunade laughed. "Its cute!" I rolled my eyes. The waterfall villagers did have a sountern accent I never noticed it in my voice. I guess living with them for almost six years will do that.

"Wonderful! Anyway..." Tsunade said getting back on track. "They should be here soon to receive their mission." She totally planned this. I let out a deep breathe. I did not know how to act. I looked at the brown wooden floor. If this had been any other village that called for help I would be talking about nothing else but the distress call. I would never wait around for answers, never a week. And I would never go off into a secondary mission for another village. I shook my head at myself, why was I acting like this?

There was a knock on the door after a while, stopping Tsunade and myself's conversation about the last few years, the person did not even wait for Tsunade to answer, they just walked in. I heard them.

"We are late because of you!" His voice snapped at the blonde headed boy.

"I was hungry!"

"You are always hungry."

"I am not!"

"Yes you are."

"No!"

"Yes!"

"Sakura?" Kakashi's shocked voice shut the other two boys up. I turned around to fully face Kakashi, Sasuke and Naruto. The three just stared at me for a long moment. I looked at their faces. Shocked they were, like they were looking at a ghost. I looked at my old team. Kakashi stood there like time had not effected him. Naruto had grown up, time was kind to him as he looked at me with wide eyes and an open mouth. Sasuke, this was the first time I had seen him since he had left the hidden leaf village and left me on that bench. I had heard that he had returned to the village not long after I had vanished. They grew up that was clear to see. They grew together, I could see the bond between Naruto and Sasuke. I could see how they looked at Kakashi, how they have grown past teacher and student, they looked at him as a friend. A bond that I never had with any of them. I noticed how handsome Naruto and Sasuke both have become.

"Sakura!" Naruto screamed my name. Pulling me into a tight hug. "Your alive! Where have you been!" He yelled, "We all thought you were dead! You were just gone!" Naruto kept on screaming, and hugging me tightly. I could not even get a salable out during his screams.

"Naruto!" Tsunade snapped. Making him shut up and let me go. "Shut up!" I could not help but smile at my old friend's childish rants. I felt arms wrap around me, i smelled kakashi's familiar college wrap around me, I hugged him back.

"Where have you been?" He whispered.

"Long story." I whispered back. After he let go. Sasuke hugged me, I did not hug him back, he wrapped his arms around me and my arms remained at my side. I felt no desire to wrap my arms around him and to feel the warmth he held.

"I thought you went out on a mission alone and died." He hugged me tighter.

"Now!" Tsunade announced, Sasuke pulled away from the awkward hug and I took an extra step away from the group of three men who could not stop watching me. "Now that we all have been introduced time for-"

"Wait!" Naruto yelled, pointing at Tsunade, "You knew Sakura was alive this entire time! You did didn't you!"

"Yes." She simply answered. "Now, back to business." Naruto almost fell onto the floor at Tsunade's casual remark.

"Hokage, what Naruto is trying to ask is, why did you not tell us Sakura was alive?" Kakashi's cool compere had Tsunade sigh.

"Sakura has the strength of hundred seal."

"Really?" Sasuke asked.

"Her seal is not like mine. It vanishes if it is not being used. It is something that I have never seen. She could not control the power." Tsunade explained calmly. "She was the one who destroyed the training grounds. So i sent her away to be trained."

"Trained by who?" Naruto asked.

"That, is for Sakura to tell." Everyone looked at me.

"What is the mission?" I asked changing the subject.

"Mission?" Naruto asked. "You are going with us?"

"She is." Tsunade answered for me.

"Yes! Team Seven, back together again!" Naruto cheered. I gave a weak smile to his little dance.

"I need you four to travel to the land of whirlpools and collect the money they owe the Leaf Village for construction materials and supplies. It should not take more than three days to travel there. Get the money and travel back. So this mission should not take more than six days. You four should be back in time for the meeting with plenty of time to spare."

"Yes granny!" Naruto cheered. Tsunade glared at him and started to insult him.

"Sakura." She called my name, "You have been traveling for two weeks, you must go get some rest and go eat something as well!" She smiled at me, then turned to Naruto. "Get out of my office!" He ran out of the room with a few objects flying after him. I just smiled slightly and followed suit. We were silent for a moment as we walked down the hallway. I think they were still trying to believe that I was walking next to them again.

"So!" Naruto broke the silence. "Who is hungry?"

"You just ate." Sasuke commented.

"Yeah, but Sakura didn't." Sasuke did not reply, he just glance at me.

"How about some ramen?" Naruto cheered after i nodded my head yes. We walked in silence until we reach Naruto's favorite place. We all ordered and waited in silence. I was texting people from the waterfall village. I could feel their eyes watching me.

"Soooo..."Naruto broke the silence that was starting to frost over us. "Who do you keep texting?"

"People." I said without really thinking.

"People?" I could hear the hurt in Naruto's voice at my cold remark. I looked over towards him, then back down away from their gaze the awkwardness was almost to much to bare. Just then, the waiter placed down our food in front of us.

"So!" Naruto spoke up with a mouth full of food. "Sakura look at you! You look so amazing! Your hair is so long!" He gushed. I nodded and looked down at my bowl of food, not really hungry. This was awkard. I have not seen these people in years and we are just sitting here like I never got kicked out of the village. I could feel their burning questions.

"Can I get a box?" I asked. He nodded then picked up my bowl. I followed him. H placed it in a to go bowl and I paid for everyones meals. I walked out then I dont know why I left, nor did I care. I just couldnt be near them another moment longer. I let out a deep breathe I did not know I was holding. I walked to the place Tsunade picked out for me. I sighed when I saw the apartment was literally right between Kakashi and Sasukes door. Naruto's apartment was beside Sasuke's apartment. I said nothing as I opened the door and made my way inside. I looked around. It was a normal apartment. My bag was already on the floor next to the couch. I went through my bag and pulled out a pair of shorts and a baggy t-shirt, a tooth brush and paste and walked in to the bathroom. After my shower I went to lay in the cold strange bed. It did not take me long to fall asleep after that.

I woke up to the sound of screaming. I snapped up and looked around for danger. Once awake I made out the voices to belong to Naruto, and Sasuke. I rubbed my eyes opened them again. When i figured out that it was not my eyes that were foggy, I jumped. There was smoke in my apartment! I ran outside to see my wall on fire! I let out an annoyed breathed and waved my hand. I watched as the fire vanished. I watched as the fire died, but left a nice gaping hole in my wall, breaking the bubble I had between sasukes room and mine.

"Oh look the fire is out." Naruto said dropping the fire extinguisher. "Sakura!?" Naruto yelled seeing me. "Your living next door!?" Sasuke and Kakashi came into view. I sighed looking away.

"Sakura, are you ok?" Kakashi asked walking into my apartment.

"Yes." I sighed. "Why was my wall on fire?" Everyone looked at Naruto.

"What?! I didnt- well no I did but, you see-" I ignored him as he tried to explain he bet that he could light a candle with his new skill, he was wrong. I glanced at Kakashi, He wore sweat pants, and a tight grey shirt. Has he always been that fit?

"Sakura?" I snap out of my thought and looked the voice who was speaking.

"Yes?"

"Why are you here?" Sasuke asked,

"Ask Tsunade, she put me here." I looked at the wall, "I guess I will be moving to a hotel now." I thought about how I just unpacked.

"Nonesence!" Naruto laughed, "You can stay with me!" I looked at Naruto for a moment, how could I tell him I didnt wish to live with him? I dont think I could handle his loud voice day end and day out.

"We are leaving in a day, Sakura if you are not ok with the hole in your wall you know you are more than welcome to stay with me or sasuke until the wall is repaired, I am sure it will be fixed by the time we get back from our mission." Kakashi's calm, reasoning voice wrapped around me and I nodded

"Thank you Kakashi, I think a sheet over the wall will be fine for one night."

"Hey, we were going to go train and get ready for the mission, you wanna come right Sakura?" Naruto smiled at me. I smiled weakly,

"I have some things I have to do today. I am sorry." Naruto frowned and started to beg. He stopped and looked at me for a long moment. I then remembered I was in short shorts and a tank top. I started to feel awkward. He frowned at me and then looked away.

"Well...I am hungry so I am gonna eat but Sakura, you should come today, it will be like old times!" He than ran out of the room through the hole in the wall.

"Well then." Kakashi said braking the silence. "Sakura, do you have any extra sheets laying around for the wall?"

"Um...no."

"I have a few extra." Sasuke said, "After I take a shower I will hang some up." He then turned and walked away. Soon it was just Kakashi and myself.

"So." He said looking around. "How have you been?"

"Good. Yourself?"

"Yeah, good. Good." We looked around for another moment. "Your hair is long now."

"Yeah, it has been long for a few years now."

"Oh, cool...cool...you always had it short here and long hair it looks nice on you."

"Thanks."

"Yeah, so I better be getting ready for the day."

"Yeah, me too."

"I will see you later?"

"Yeah." He walked out and I was then left alone. I sighed, I was shocked no one brought up the fact that I left last night. I didnt think much of it aftet that thought. I went to take a shower. After I changed I sat down turned the TV on. I really didnt have anything to do today, I just didnt want to go to the training grounds, I havent been there since I nearly blew it all up. I bit my lip,

"This place doesnt feel like my home, it hasnt for many years. Kakashi, Sasuke, Naruto every one of them, it feels like theres this wall between us." I said to Kaguya on the phone.

"It is your first day back Sakura" She laughed, "Of course things will be a little bit weird. You should befriend them again, if it werent for them you wouldnt be who you are today. You can not tell me that you are not a little happy to see your childhood friends? When you leave and come home, are you going to be happy with your actions there?" I thought for a moment, "Enjoy your time there, they are your friends, it is not wrong for you to enjoy being there. It is ok to do. You have worked so hard, and come so far, when you left there no one would bat an eye at you. Show off how far you have come. You deserve it. I do not want you to have any regrets." I smiled,

"Thank you Kaguya."

"Now go out and see your old friends, call me after your mission and tell me how you blew their minds away."

"Yes mam. Thank you."

"Be safe Sakura."

"I will. Bye."

"Goodbye." I hung up the phone and looked around. It was 2:34 pm. I was bored. I got up and took Kaguya's advice. I changed and walked out my door. I walked out into the bright sun and started my way towards the training grounds.

"Sakura?" I heard a voice, i glanced over Kiba and Shikamaru watched me walk by with amazement, they were stunned, I ignored the stares as i kept on walking. Many others noticed me and walked on by, everyone would stop and watch me walk past. It was very interesting. I soon came onto the training grounds, it was clear accept my old friends were training. As always, Kakashi was reading his books, Naruto and Sasuke were going at it once again. I guess not much has changed over the years. Naruto was yelling again.

"Why cant I figure this out?!" He yelled

"The temple of nirvana technique is a very handy technique to use. But it isnt very helpful if you are using it only on one person. And if the person you are using it on dispels it then it doesnt work and you wont really know if it worked or not." I said coming into view.

"Sakura!" Naruto yelled seeing me, "You came!" I smiled as I soon stood next to them.

"I did."

"I assume you talked through town?" Kakashi asked,

"Yes, why?" Kakashi nodded behind me, as I looked I noticed half the town standing there, watching me.

"Oh." I looked back towards my team.

"Sakura! Come on lets spare! I dont think we have have ever fought!" Naruto laughed, I thought for a moment,

"Ok." He cheered as he ran a few yards away.

"Fight until someone yelled uncle! I am going to kick your ass!" Naruto laughed.

"You are more cocky then I remember."

"While you ran off and have been vacationing for forever and a day, I have been here training." Naruto mocked, I felt a ting in my chest.

"How about a bet then."

"A bet?" Naruto raised an eye brow.

"If you can get me to move from this spot, dinner is on me."

"Oh! you are so on!" He said running a few yards away.

"Ready when you are!"

I nodded. Kakashi and Sasuke backed up to give us room. I waited to see what Naruto would do, and to see how he has improved over the years. He charged, doing a few hand signs, three more Narutos appeared.

"Now thats one to many." I muttered I completed a few hands signed in record time, water rushed towards the Narutos and pushed them back. Three vanished and Naruto went flying back. Naruto flew up and yelled words I could not hear. This went of for about an hour. He would run at me, I would push him back with water, or air, or plants, or even fire once. He threw weapons at me, tried pushing me back tried this that that and I have yet to move from this spot. He was still the same act first think later type that would charge without a care in the world. He was huffing and was out of breathe. He walked over towards me.

"Ok Sakura, you win." He said standing next to me. I raised an eye brow. That was not the right word. I waited for him to do something. He then tried to attack. I grabbed his arm and kicked him away. He slammed into a tree. I was being very bored with this.

"Ow!" He groaned. I sighed and glanced at all the people watching, everyone I went to school with, I even saw Ino there, I havent seen her in years. We were very good friends until the fight over Sasuke began. Looking back now, it was so stupid and childish. I looked over at Naruto came running out of no where. He ran face first into a shield that was placed around me I sighed and got bored. Creating a few signs water rose up from the ground and wrapped around him, twisted him unside down and hung him there.

"Are you done yet?" I asked.

"How are you not even tired?!"

"Because while I was away I trained day and night. It was not a vacation like you think it was." I looked at him, "Now we can do this all night, I have had longer fights than this or you can give up and we can go get something to eat, on me."

"Really?"

"Yes, I am very bored."

"Ok." I glared for a hot moment.

"What?"

"Say it."

"Ok, Ok! Uncle!" I let the water go and Naruto fell to the ground with a grunt. "Ow." The crowd cheered and clapped. I smiled and offered a hand towards him.

"Ok." Kakashi muttered, "I do not want to deal with them." He said and did a few hand signs and in a twist of wind me were off, we were at Narutos favorite place. He cheered and ran in. I followed with a smile. I sat down with them and we ordered food. We all at in silence until the food came. We ate in silence. I could still feel those wall in between us.

"So..." Kakashi broke the silence. "We have to get up bright and early tomorrow." He said standing up.

"We all live next to each other why not walk together?" Naruto asked on his fourth bowl.

"Because you take forever." Sasuke muttered.

"I do not!"

"Yes, you do."

"No I dont!"

"Yes you do!"

I glanced around and started to back out of the place, I had already paid so once I got outside in the warm air I breathed. I started to walk home, but before I could take one step,

"You have improved." I looked behind me to see Kakashi.

"Thanks." He walked over towards me and we both started to walk to our apartments together.

"I am impressed. So is the town. That was quite the show you put on." I was looking forward. I oddly didn't care what the town thought. As for Kakashi's option, it made me feel good to know he was impressed. We walked in silence, I looked up at the dying sky.

"It was four days." Kakashi started. I looked at him "Four days and we were wondering where you were. We pride and pride Tsunade to give us some information. Two weeks later, she said she sent you on a solo mission and you never came back, she then declared you fallen a few days later. Naruto refused to stop looking for you. It was like Sasuke all over again only this time it was you. We soon found out that you were the back bone of our team, you held us together, you stopped the fighting, you...you did everything and we forgot about you for four days. It nearly killed Naruto, he blamed himself the previous weeks before you left we pushed you away, we made you feel like you were not apart of our team. Naruto blamed himself for you going on that solo mission for years. Once Sasuke came back, he to stopped talking to everyone else for months, he would go out with Naruto for weeks on end trying to find you. I...I dont think it really sunk in until your birthday came around, you were going to be eighteen that year, Naruto came to training one day and started talking about what we could do for your party, then it sunk in that you were gone. Every year, we would stand out by that old cherry blossom tree that you use to love sit under for hours reading. we would collect there, Naruto would bring your favorite food and Sasuke would set up a picnic because you always tried to get us to do those, but we always brushed you off. It was the one day Sasuke and Naruto did not fight. On your nineteenth birthday, the whole town would gather in your honor in your old spot, it was no longer just our team it was the entire village...it was a huge gathering. You were a big part of the community and I never even realized how many ties you had around here until you were gone. No one did. You were just always there to run to for help or for company or to set up a celebration or for studying...it hit the town hard. A year after you left, your parents moved away. That stirred up some emotion. Naruto and Sasuke would go over there and make sure your parents were doing alright, they would do their grass, rake their leaves, make sure they were ok if there was a threat on the village...it was their way of being close to you again, and then they left, and Naruto and Sasuke didnt have that to lean on anymore so they broke apart again. Even two days ago, they still were not put back together. No one could fill your place on our team we would have sub ninjas come with us on missions..." He looked at me, "We really missed you." We stopped walking and before I knew it we were back at my old spot, a place where i hide from the world. I looked around at all the people who had gathered around. There were food stands everywhere on grass, people were on blankets, a banner was telling me welcome home, i looked around in shock. I looked at Kakashi, then Naruto and Sasuke made their way through the crowds.

"Your late Kakashi!" Naruto glared with a smile.

"What is all this?" I asked looking around

"To welcome you back." Naruto smiled. I smiled at them, I couldnt tell them what I was leaving after Tsunade doesnt need me anymore. It was clear they did a lot of work in a very short amount of time. instead of ruining this for them, I walked over and hugged Naruto. Who hugged me back, hard. After a moment i felt my shoulder becoming wet. Naruto was crying.

"I missed you." He whispered. "I thought it was my fault!" He sobbed. "I thought because we pushed you away you took that mission to prove to everyone that you were a good ninja, Sakura you are the best ninja ever!" He cried. I felt Kakashi walk closer behind me, i thought he was going to pull Naruto off me and make him stop crying in front of everyone. But he didnt. He to hugged me.

"Welcome back Sakura." Kakashi whispered. Soon, Sasuke joined in the group hug.

The night was short. The hours flew on by. I was greeted by all of my old friends who I had thought forgotten me. Naruto and Sasuke refused to leave my side the entire night. I ran into Ino for a brief moment, she had a strange look on her face and walked away. I didnt think anything of it. It was a very nice night. Full of bubbling laughter and jokes, smiled of all kinds. It truly was fun. Soon people grew tired and migrated to their homes. I to became tired and Naruto and Sasuke and Kakashi followed me home.

"Hey ugh, Sasuke?" Naruto muttered as we were walking up the stairs to the apartments.

"Eh."

"Can I sleep over?"

"What? No you-" Sasuke cut himself off and after a moment he said, "Sure dope." I was not quite sure what that was about and I didnt really care. I was tired I unlocked my door and smiled and said goodnight to everyone else. I locked it and looked around the dim room. I heard whispers coming from Sasukes apartment. I shrugged and walked into the bedroom. I put on pj pants and a half lose t-shirt. I then walked back out onto the couch and turned the TV on. I enjoyed the noise. With not much time flying by I was already falling into a deep sleep.

"We cant just go in there...right?" I heard a voice breaking into my dream. I ignored it and tried to play in my happy dream land a bit longer.

"No you dope." Another voice, cracking my dream.

"Naruto, you cant!" A voice yelled and my dream evaporated into thin air. I opened my eyes to see a blushing Naruto and a stunned Sasuke. I looked around.

"What are you guys doing?" I asked trying to wake up.

"I-uh..."Naruto stuttered. "I was trying to stop Sasuke from coming in here!" Naruto defended, Sasuke snapped around and started yelling. It was to early for this. I fully got up and started to fold my blanket.

"There you two are." Kakashis voice came into view. "What are you-" Kakashi froze once he saw me. He then grabbed the two boys and practally threw them through the hole in the wall ripping the sheet down.

"I am sorry Sakura, please get dressed meet us over at Sasukes when you are ready."

"Thanks Kakashi." I said and then walked into the bathroom to take a shower. After my shower I curled my long hair within a moment, I applied make up and I changed into my missions outfit. I wore thick black leggings that had leather strips wrapping around them, black boots. I wore a thick black long sleeve t-shirt that I pulled the sleeves up to my elbows. A black vest to protect my organs that matched my plants. I placed on the protectors on my arms and gloves that shelved the top of my hand I pinned my hair up and my side bangs naturally fell into place. I smirked. I looked good, ill admit that. My outfit hugged my body perfectly. I had a sword but I stored it on the side of my bag. I walked through the hole to see the others ready to go. Naruto dropped the glass in his hand once he saw me. Sasuke glaring at the broken glass then to Naruto. Sasuke followed his gaze towards where he was gawking.

"S-Sakura?" Naruto stuttered. Kakashi looked up from his book and looked at me.

"Good morning Sakura."

"Morning." I said setting my bag down. "Are you ready to go yet?" I said looking at them. Naruto and Sasuke were wearing something similar to Kakashi, because they were jounin. Kakashi had the famous green jounin uniform on. They had their bags ready.

"Yeah!" Naruto cheered.

"Lets go." I said, waiting for them to get up. No one was waiting for us at the gate which I was pretty happy for and it was dawn so everyone is asleep. We walked through it and we were off!

"My feet hurt!" Naruto cried.

"It has only been six hours." Kakashi muttered.

"Six hours! Ugh that is forever ago!" Naruto cried again. I sighed, I looked up at the sky, it was going to rain. I yawned and looked around. It was warm which was nice. Sasuke walked beside me. Which was different. Even Kakashi was closer than normal.

"Tell me again why we didn't take a train, or a taxi, or rent a car?" Naruto whined.

"Because cars are to easy of a target." I stated flatly. I looked over at Naruto and shot him a shut the fuck up look and Naruto whipped forward, looking a head, fear on his face. Taking a cap, or a train or renting a car would have been nice, but I had a shinny price tag on my head and many, many people who would like to claim it. Getting in a giant target sign with four doors is not the way I want to go.

We walked...and walked...and walked a little more. Little time had past. It was quite mostly, beside Naruto whining and a fight between Naruto and Sasuke here and there. We had wondered into bandit country, a place full of rouge ninja who do not like to follow the rules. I looked around at my old team. I think maybe because I was back in their group that it was throwing them off. I am not the same person I was while I was still apart of team seven. I did not fit in that old position. I think we were all kind of waiting to see where I could fit now, then maybe after I figured that out, there would be more conversation. As for right now, i enjoyed the non-conversation. We walked a bit more until a knife flew past Kakashi and Sasuke and landed in the ground.

"We are under attack!" Naruto yelled, we scattered. I didnt know if they had a plan for if we were under attack or not. A ninja came out of no where and kicked Naruto. I growled this fight is going to take forever!

I was in the middle of a fight with a larger much older man. He was good i will give him that, but I was better. I ducked down and slid my sword out of my its shield. I sliced his stomach, he fell to his knees. I looked around, before I could move towards Naruto who was not winning his fight, another masked man ran up. I blocked his attack and struck back, cutting his arm. He growled and tried a few more attacks which failed. I spun around his figure and whipped my blade across his back, making him fall to his knees.

I was to busy looking at Naruto, who cried out in pain. I was grabbed by the neck and slammed against a tree, a kunai being slammed into my leg. I locked my jaw and glared at the guy. He wore a mask, covering his face. I kicked him and he fell backwards onto his ass. I jumped to my feet, kicking his kunai away from him. I looked down at him, glaring.

"You are going to die Reaper."

"Yeah, but not today." I said dropping his kunai on his chest. I walked away, ignoring his blood filled gasps. I looked over and seen Naruto back to back with Sasuke fighting three men. I seen one pull out a hidden sword and another pull his out, the third one was distracting my comrades. I bolted forward. I jumped. I landed in between Naruto and Sasuke, but I was to late. I kicked one away and i pushed Naruto so he would fall into Sasuke, but the one guy left standing swung his sword. I locked my jaw when I felt the blade slice my skin open on my arm. I took the chance to swing my sword in the two second I had while he was trying to turn towards me. He fell to the ground. The last two remaining fled away.

"Sakura!" Naruto screamed my name. I looked down my the blood dripping down my arm.

"I'm fine." I said as they all ran towards me. Kakashi pulled out his first aid kit and applied pressure towards my wound. "Guys." I said pushing Kakashis hand away, "I am fine." My lit up green as I placed my hand on my wound they all went, "Oh..." I rolled my eyes.

"Wow Sakura. You were..." Naruto looked around at the bodies then towards me, "You were amazing! You kicked some real ass!" He laughed. I just smiled and shook my head.

"Is anyone else hurt?" I asked looking around. Naruto had a few cuts but other than that we were fine. We picked up our gear and walked on.

It was like the fight never happened. Naruto and Sasuke were bickering I looked around, a song playing in my head over and over and over again. I bobbed my head slightly enjoying the tune. I heard a chuckle and glanced over to see Kakashi hiding a smile behind his mask. I rolled my eyes and looked away.

"We are going to have to set up for camp soon." Sasuke muttered watching Naruto drag himself on the ground to keep up. I looked down at my map.

"There is a town not to far from here."

"Really!?" Naruto jumped to my side with a huge grin.

"Yes." I pointed west. "About ten miles that way."

"T-Ten miles?" Naruto fail to the ground. "Sakura! How can you walk ten more miles?!"

"Because its easy." I muttered not thinking. I looked back towards them and saw all of them looking at me. Trying to see through me like before. I looked at the map.

"If we jog we can get there before dinner." I said looking at Naruto who jumped up at the thought of food.

"Ok!" He said getting pumped up. "Lets go!" He said breaking off into a run. "I bet I can beat you Sasuke!" He laughed. Sasuke rolled his eyes but still, he broke out in a run to catch up to his teammate. Kakashi chuckled and started to follow his team mates. I looked up at the sky. I was just walking. I looked into the distance, I could see my old teammates as little dots trying beat each other. I sighed and collected chakra and took a deep breathe and leaped into the air. I glided against the wind as I glided through the air. I could see my team, laughing, joking, competing. They really havent changed. I soon flew past them and landed at the gate of the town. No guards. I looked around. I looked at the symbol. Half of an arrow pointing left and then another half arrow, pointing right.

"Bandit country." Yes people like me, ninja who had a place in the distance where they called home could enter, they could be here, shop here, eat here, have a fun night here but that doesnt mean we were not in danger if we were hurt, or killed there was nothing no one could do. Finding the killer . I looked behind me. The others have not caught up yet.

"Well hello there." I looked over to see a man leaning against the wall to enter the gate.

"Hello." I stated.

"A beautiful women as yourself should not be wondering around here alone."

"Who says I am alone?" I asked.

"I see no one around."

"You can not see the air, yet you believe it to be there."

"What?" I did not want to start a fight here. The ending could be very ugly. I was buying time for the others to get here.

"You wanna go get a drink?" The man smiled a slick smile, laced with untruest and lies.

"No thank you." I said looking away. I started to do math in my head, mixing and switching the numbers in my head.

"Eh." The man said looking at me for a moment. "Playing hard to get huh?" He went to grab me but just then, like always Naruto and Sasuke came running out of the trees surrounding us trying to win the race.

"Oh hello." I said looking at them.

"Sakura?" Naruto asked looking up at me from the ground, panting. "How the hell did you beat us?"

"Who are you?" Sasuke glared at the stranger.

"This is the man who was trying to get me drunk." I said stale.

"What!?" Naruto jumped up along with Sasuke. The guy backed up hands in the air.

"H-Hey i want not trouble here ok? I will just go ok?" He said and ran off without an answer.

"Sakura!" Naruto yelled running over towards me. "Are you ok?"

"I am fine."

"How did you beat us here?" Kakashi asked coming into view. I pointed up.

"The air."

"The Air!?" Sasuke and Naruto yelled.

"What!?" Naruto yelled.

"Maybe I will show you some other time." I said as I turned to walk into the gate.

"Sakura..." Naruto muttered after a while. I looked at him.

"Yes?"

"Back then...before you left you would have beaten the crud out of that guy. Why didnt you?"

"This is not the place to draw attention." I said looking at them

"Why?"

"This is bandit country."

"Oh."

"If we get a hotel tonight we will not be able to afford to go out for dinner or breakfast tomorrow, we will have to buy supplies at a store before we leave."

"Very good Sakura." Kakashi said walking over towards me. "Did you have a place in mind?"

"Yes."

"Wha!?" Naruto yelled once the door was locked. It was an ok hotel room. Two large beds, a bathroom a small kitchen and a smaller TV.

"Oh my goodness!" Naruto gasped. "You have been here before Sakura!"

"Yes."

"What?" Sasuke asked.

"I have been here a few times. It is a pretty safe place as long so we do not start any problems we should be left alone."

"When did you come here?!" Naruto yelled

"About two years ago." I thought for a moment. Naruto did not say anything after that for a long moment.

"Well I am hungry!" Naruto cried flopping on his bed. I stood up and headed for the door.

"Well that sucks, because we are stuck eating whatever you left us from our snacks and water." Kakashi said looking at Naruto.

"Sakura?"

"I will be right back." I said looking at them.

"O-Ok." Naruto muttered. "I might go looking around you know...making sure everything is ok." I closed the door behind me and i slid on headphones, playing the song that has been trapped inside my head all day. I walked down to the small store. I bought eggs and bacon for tomorrow morning, trial mix and a few other snacks for the trip. I bought rice and a few other things to make dinner for tonight. I walked back to see that Naruto was right he did go look around the village along with the others. I locked the door behind me. I started to cook chicken fried rice for everyone.

"I let the whiskey talk and baby it said too much. I got the feeling now that it didn't say enough 'cause I'm waking up alone, missing that midnight kiss I can't promise you forever. All I know is I still want you to come over, and I'm stone cold sober." I sang to the song. I felt familiar chakra. I smiled slightly. I glanced as the door opened. Naruto was yelling about something but all I could see was his mouth was moving. My song filled his mouth with lyrics. I smiled slightly at the thought. I looked back down and started putting rice on plates. I looked up and over to see everyone looking at me. I pulled a head phone.

"What?" I asked again.

"Sakura what are you doing?" Naruto asked looking at what was in the kitchen, "What smells so good? Did you order take out!?" Naruto yelled with delight, "Oh please let me you hear you say you ordered take out!" I handed each of them a plate.

"I did not."

"What?" Naruto pouted, looking at it. "But what is that then?"

"I cooked it."

"Y-You cooked it." Sasuke said looking down at it.

"No way!" Naruto laughed.

"What?"

"Sakura you cant cook! You burn corn flakes!" Naruto laughed.

"I learned years ago how to cook." I said eating a bite. I looked at the TV, which Sasuke switched on, looking for something to watch.

"But..but you cant cook." Naruto said looking at me then to the plate. He took in a deep breathe. He then took a huge bite full. His eyes shut tight and he chewed. Kakashi and Sasuke watched him, wondering if the food was safe. Naruto snapped his eyes open and looked at me in amazement.

"This taste amazing!" Naruto yelled with a smile. He started to shove it in his mouth. Sasuke and Kakashi started to eat as well. I sat on the empty bed and watched the TV. I had changed into a lose t-shirt, it exposed one of my shoulders due to its bigness and sweat pants with fuzzy socks. About an hour had past.

"Sakura." I looked up at Kakashi's voice.

"Yes."

"What is that?" He asked pointing to my ankle. I looked at where his eyes where. I reached for my pants leg and pulled it up.

"A cut."

"Why dont you heal it?" Sasuke asked. I laughed lightly.

"Because of the venom that was on the blade."

"Venom?"

"It will not allow me to heal myself with chakra. So my body has to heal on its own, which it is not use to doing, so it is healing slower than normal."

"When did you get that, it looks bad." Kakashi asked looking at it a bit more, trying to see through the white gaze. I laughed.

"I got it about a month ago."

"Oh."

"Does it hurt?" Naruto asked, butting in the conversation.

"Not really." I laughed.

"Are you sure?" Naruto asked.

"I am."

"But it-"

"I have had worse Naruto, I am fine." I looked down at my phone. The others fell into a deep silence. After a while I yawned. I looked over at Naruto who was snoring in the bed next to me. Sasuke was next to him watching TV and glaring at Naruto when he gets to loud. Kakashi was in the chair by the TV, reading his book. I was in the bed alone. I placed my head back down on the pillow and closed my eyes.

I woke up. The alarm clock in the middle of the two beds read 1:24 am. I looked over to see Naruto and Sasuke fast asleep. Kakashi was still in that small chair, his eye closed and his head tilted down. I got up and walked over towards him. I touch his shoulder.

"Kakashi." I whispered, shaking him. He flung forward grabbing my neck. I kneed him in the stomach, flipping over him, breaking free.

"S-Sakura?" Kakashi asked fully awake. "I am so sorry I-"

"I know." I stated. "I woke you up because you are sleeping on that chair."

"OK?"

"You can sleep in the bed."

"You need to rest."

"OK, I will once I got back to bed."

"B-But-"

"Kakashi how long have you known me?"

"A long time."

"I am sure you trust me enough to sleep in the same bed with me. I trust you. We are just going to be sleeping."

"Ok." He said clearing his throat. I walked over towards the bed and got back in. Kakashi grabbed his bag and walked back into the bathroom. I closed my eyes. A little bit later, I felt the bed dip. Kakashi joined me in bed.

"Kakashi."

"Yes?"

"Thank you, for being respectful."

"You deserve nothing less Sakura." I smiled and closed my eyes.

"What!?" Naruto screamed. I snapped up and looked around. Naruto was standing in a black shirt and orange boxers pointing at me. Kakashi was sitting up as well, he sighed and ran a hand through his hair.

"Naruto?" I asked.

"Why are you and Kakashi in the same bed!? Huh!?"

"Because you morons fell asleep before we could figure out who was sleeping where. Where else were we suppose to sleep?" I asked, then looked at the clock. 6:14 am. I sighed. Well I was up now. I got out of bed and grabbed my bag.

"Sakura?" Naruto yelled.

"Im taking a shower!" I called walking into the bathroom. I sighed and closed the door. I forgot how...over whelming Naruto could be. Expectantly in the morning before you woke up. I jumped in the shower after it was hot enough. Once I shaved, washed my hair, and body I got out. I started to put on my make up and I put a loose curl into my hair in seconds. Once I was dressed and ready to go, I walked out. To see Naruto doing the pee dance. He ran right in and slammed the door. I laughed slightly.

"Sakura?" I looked over to see Sasuke and Kakashi looking at me.

"Yes?"

"You ugh...you look nice." Kakashi smiled through his mask.

"Thank you." I noticed that they were already dressed. Naruto came out of the bathroom after a little bit.

"Ugh! I feel so much better!" He came out laughing.

"We are ready to go dope." Sasuke muttered. "Have been for a half hour."

"Alright! Lets go!"

Once we gathered our things and turned in the room key, we were on our way once again.

We walked for a few hours. Naruto was filling me on what has been going on in the village since I was gone. He talked and talked and talked a little bit more. It wasnt until we stopped walking due to two men standing in our way. I had head phones in. I was listening to music.

"May we help you?" Kakashi asked. I felt my eyes narrow, seeing the symbol on their chest. I backed up and hid behind Kakashi. They were reapers. Reapers, nasty group of people. They were a group of assassins who didnt want to listen to anyone. They take what they want and kill anyone in their path. I came across a few years ago. Ever since then they have been a huge pain in my ass. I destroyed many of their camps not to long ago. I am pretty sure I am high up on their shit list. I pulled my sword out of its home. I placed my iPod on shuffle and looked around for the others. Reapers travel in groups. I saw a thread of light coming towards Narutos head. I jumped clashing swords with one of the reapers. I kicked him away and landed in front of Kakashi, Sasuke and Naruto.

"Well, well, well..." The one in the front laughed. "...the Reaper of Reapers." I glared. The man smiled watching me for a moment. "You cant hear me can you? I guess the rumors are true." He picked up his sword from leaning on it. "You really dont need sound to kill an entire village." I felt the three pairs of eyes on my back. "I must say it is really nice to finally meet you. I have heard a lot about you."

"And yet I have heard nothing about you." The man smirked. I dropped my bag on the ground. I noticed the patches on his arm. He was new to the group.

"Oh boy! If we kill the reaper and bring her back we will so be in!" One laughed, talking to the leader.

"You are right. Our training would be over."

"Training?" I scoffed. "You three are practicing how to kill people by robbing them. How do you call that training?"

"Oh you will learn soon enough, you just wont live to tell the story."

"Do you really think you three are going to be able to touch me?" I felt Naruto move forward, but before he could get a word out, the three vanished.

"Separate!" I yelled. Jumping up to clash swords with the leader. Naruto and Sasuke ignored my command. They held each others backs. Kakashi was busy fighting with the one who tried to attack from the air. I landed on the ground, only to jump once more due to the leader trying to slid my leg off. I through a kunai and hit him in the arm.

"I see the rumors are true." He laughed, kicking me. I flew into the ground. I glared, standing up blocking his sword with my own. I kicked him backwards. I didnt wait for him to get up, I flew forward, aiming for his heart. He blocked me, I jumped away before he could slid my stomach open. He through his kunai at me, hitting my hand, I dropped my sword. We went hand to hand until I pushed him away far enough to grab my sword. I looked up at him, he was good with a sword. I glanced over at Naruto and Sasuke, they were fighting that one guy, Kakashi was getting his ass kicked by the other guy. I glanced back in time to see the leader about to attack, I blocked it and dropped my sword, I created a few hand signs quickly. The wind dropped. I felt it wrap around me and I looked at the leader, who was landing on the grounds, confused. I shot the wind at the leader. It wrapped around him like a snake, he started making strange sounds that were muffled from the music blasting in my ears. I watched his face, he started to scream. Pleading for his life. The wind that as wrapped around him was slowly killing him. I learned how to bring my found love for music into battle with me. I have learned how to use sound waves and mix them into the wind, I can play a sound and my chakra will spell out the music into the wind, every time the bass spikes, it was like a knife stabbing you. I normally play the sound I listen to, it was easier to keep track if I catch more than one person in this trap.

"Cleon!" Kakashi's opponent screamed, seeing the leader on his knees screaming. Sasuke and Narutos guy cursed.

"Time to end this!" He yelled, glaring at Naruto and Sasuke. I ran towards Naruto and Sasuke who were frozen in their tracks. Naruto tried to move, but Sasuke did instead. It was the reapers signature move. A jutsu that switches the opponents movements, thats why I screamed to scatter. I looked around. Kakashi was doing fine on his own. The one fighting Naruto and Sasuke was laughing at them. He had Naruto pull out a kunai and made him move towards Sasuke.

"S-Sasuke. I-I c-cant-"

"I-Its ok Naruto." Before Naruto could move his arm, I through my sword inside the guys chest. He looked down at the blade, once he fell to his kneed I removed my sword. Naruto and Sasuke both fell to the ground once the guy did. They stood up and looked at each other gasping. I looked over once I heard a scream. Kakashis opponent was looking at me, screaming his friends names, giving Kakashi the chance to finish him off.

"Sakura!" Naruto yelled, I looked at him. I followed his eyes, there was a deep cut on my hand. A kunai still was in my leg. I just smiled.

"I am fine Naruto." I said as Kakashi made his way towards me. I pulled the kunai out and looked up to see everyone staring at me.

"What?"

"Sakura you..." Naruto trailed off. "You are bad ass!" I ignored him, I looked back over at the leader running towards me. I glared annoyed and over this fight, I whipped out a kunai and waited a few seconds, waiting for him to get closer. I kicked his arm up that held a knife, and sliced his throat. I watched him fall to the ground. I scratched my head, looking around until I noticed Naruto, Sasuke and Kakashi looking at me with their mouths open. Naruto was saying words I couldnt hear, he was laughing and running over towards me and hugged me. I pulled out my head phones.

"What?"

"Sakura I think this is the first time that you have ever saved our butts before!" Naruto laughed, I rolled my eyes as I hand lit into a bright green.

"Are you alright Sakura?" I looked over at Kakashi as I healed my leg and hand.

"Yes. How about you guys?"

"Yep." Naruto Smiled. I healed their cuts and bruises.

"We better get moving then. We are already a day behind." I said picking up my bag.

"Say Sakura." Naruto said after an hour of walking.

"Yes?"

"Those guys back there...how did they know you?"

"They were apart of a group, they call themselves reapers."

"Reapers?"

"Yes." I nodded. "The group is made up of mainly rouge assassins who do not want to follow anyones rules. They take what they want and kill anyone who gets in there way. Why they are way out here I have no idea. I am surprised you guys have not run across them until right now."

"Yeah, but how did they know you?" Naruto asked again.

"I ran into to them a few years back." I said, I looked at them. "If you run across them again do not stand near each other. Stay a few feet away."

"That is why you told us to scatter!" Naruto butted in.

"Yes. That is the reapers signature move."

"It is smart." Naruto muttered after a moment.

"Sakura." Sasuke spoke up.

"Huh?"

"They said you killed an entire village?"

"Yes." Was all I said. I looked over to see the three stopped walking.

"What?" Kakashi asked, stunned. I sighed and faced them.

"That is why they knew me. During my training, one of their groups kidnapped me and one of my friends. Long story short, I killed everyone in one of their hideout. It looked like the reapers have made a come back from then." I said and turned away and started to walk away. I looked up at the clouds floating above us.

"Sakura?" Naruto asked.

"Why were you wearing head phones back there? You could have been killed!" I rolled my eyes at Narutos comment.

"It is a long story Naruto." I looked at him, "I will tell you when we get back to the leaf village."

"Ok?" I looked forward. I felt my eyes sharpen with concern. Why were the reapers this far out? We were countries away from their hideout. Unless they were expanding again? Were we walking into their webs? I glanced back at the three beside me. I haven't touched bases with information about the reapers in some time. I thought they would need more time before they were up and running. By the looks of the groups we just faced they were just fine. I locked my jaw out of rage. I knew the reapers all to well, if they were out here than that means they have set up shop somewhere near by, and that means we were going to walk up to their front door and not even know it. Wonderful.

We were getting close to the land of whirlpools. The faster we get this mission over with the faster I can get home and start tracking the reapers again. It was high noon, the sun was bright in the sky smiling at me, I smiled back. Naruto and Kakashi were having a small conversation about something I didnt care about. I didnt care enough to listen in I had my head phones wrapped around my neck, I was bored of listening to music. I stopped walking. Seeing a mark on a tree. No...Why can I not be right just once. Marked on the tree were to scythes with a circle in the background. We were in reaper territory. I started to look around, already placing my headphones back in my ears and pushing the shuffle button. Before I could tell the others to turn around, I was to late.

"Good afternoon." A voice came from the trees. Naruto, Sasuke, Kakashi and I all looked. "Do not tell me this is the group responsible for two of my groups deaths?" A man said coming from the shadows. He had long black hair, slicked back and the reapers uniform. The black pants and boots, the black biker jackets with different patches, telling you what rank they held. The famous reaper hoods.

"Yes sir." I remembered the guy who answered from the first fight. He must have been following us from a far distance. Dammit.

"Lets see what we have here." He said looking at us. "The great copy ninja, an Uchiha, the nine tailed fox and the reaper of reapers." He smirked. "What a fine bounty. Each of them is a rank." He called to the shadows. "Whoever kills one gets promoted." He laughed glaring at me. "Reaper..." He smiled, "Beautiful as ever I see."

"Bite me." I glared. He laughed. "Ugh...I have missed that fire. Such a shame to see you go." He looked back into the shadows. "Good luck!" He called into the air, vanishing. It was a long silent moment before they all pounded. We all had a price tag on our head. I looked around and the fifteen ninja surrounding us. Shit... I killed two as they ran bluntly at me. Morons...Naruto, Sasuke and Kakashi all scattered, taking my advice from either about the reapers move. I was clashing swords with one ninja and jumping attacks from another. I sliced ones throat open and turned to the one throwing attacks at me.

"I can see you all are new." I mocked, turning three more ninja my way.

"Bitch." One yelled running at me, I broke his nose and then ran my sword through him, then pulled it out to block another attack. The fight was long, but fine. I had four ninja around me, all trying to claim the price tag that was placed on my head for themselves. Each failed. It was like they were never ending, I killed one and two more would take their place. I soon started to see them thinning out. As one was getting pooling his chakra to his hand, I lit my hand up and placed it on a cut on my arm. I looked down, it was not healing. I snapped my eyes up to his wicked smile. They are using that freaking venom. I looked over at Naruto, Kakashi and Sasuke, I had to warn them, not to be touched by their blades. Sasuke was fine on his own just like his teacher, Naruto was panting, he had many cuts. I could see more blood than skin. I watched the two Ninja he was fighting team up against him. I watched one take his attention just like back in the first fight, they were going hand to hand. The second one was pulling out his sword behind him. Not watching out for myself, I felt a blade enter my side. I didnt care about the stinging pain in my side. I through a kunai, killing the ninja who injured me. His goofy smile flashed into my head, his stupid jokes, his loud mouth, his loyalty, my twelve year old friend flashed into my eyes smiling at me.

Naruto...

I ran as fast as I could. I felt my hand grow hot, as if I was holding fire inside my hand I looked down to see sparkling lighting collect in my hand, I jumped into the air. Chidori...I through it at the one in front of Naruto. Naruto whipped around only to see me landing behind him.

"Sakura?" He asked confused. I sucked in a deep breath, feeling the blade entering my body.

"SAKURA!" I heard Naruto scream. I pulled a kunai out and stabbed the guy in front of me, aiming for his neck. We glared at each other for a moment. I looked down at the sword in my stomach. It burn, it was hot, I felt the color white enter my sight. I fell backwards into Naruto, who was still screaming. Asking me why I saved his life again, asking why I jumped in front of him. I looked into his clear, bright blue crystal eyes. His goofy smile entered my thoughts once more, letting know I did not do this in vain.

"SAKURA! SAKURA! SAKURA TALK TO ME! PLEASE!" He screamed. I could hear Kakashi and Sasuke trying to end their battles. "Sakura...why?" He cried. "Kakashi!" He screamed, "Kakashi!"

"N-Naruto." I could taste the iron in my mouth.

"Sakura!? Why!? Why would you protect me?!"

"How should I know?" I asked him, seeing him search my eyes for answers. "M-My body just moved on its own." I smiled, seeing his shocked look. I watched him flash back to when we were just kids on that bridge, when Sasuke said that to him and when he said that Sasuke when they went up against Kaguya for the first time. I was never in their click, it was their inside joke for when they got into a fight, I never got to say it to them...I never felt good enough to...until now.

"W-What?"

"I know I have never been but you are my best friend."

"What?" Naruto gasped.

"Y-you were the only person i-i could talk too a-all those years ago. Y-You were always there...I am sorry if I took that for granted." I gasped at the pain in my chest. I glanced at Kakashi and Sasuke. "Naruto...take care of them..."

"Sakura..." I looked up at the clouds slowly floating over my head.

"Warn the village about the reapers. They are closing in on the leaf village. Get ninja from the waterfall village, tell them I sent you."

"Sakura! What are you talking about!?"

"The leaf village wont stand a chance on its own, trust me" I breathed gasping for air.

"Sakura! Sakura! Heal yourself!" I shook my head.

"I cannot."

"WHY!?"

"The v-venom...I cant..." I gasped at the heavy crushing pressure in my chest. It was my blood. The thing that kept me alive slowly filling my lungs. I looked up at my old friend.

"I-it is not your fault." I gasped out as Naruto moved a little, getting a better grip on me. Little white dots started to fill my eye sight. I closed them due to the burning sensation the dots were creating.

"Naruto!" Kakashi screamed. "What happened?!"

"S-She..."

"Naruto stop crying!"

"Sakura saved my life!" Naruto cried. I felt my body bend and then be lifted, I wanted to scream out at the shooting pain that was climbing up my body but I couldnt. I couldnt move. I couldnt open my eyes or speak. I felt cold. I felt tired. I needed to sleep. Sleep felt natural it felt warm and inviting...

"Get out of here!"

"No please!"

"Please help my friend! There was an attack, she will die if we can not get her to a hospital! Please!"

'I don't care! Why would I help you better? You are going to ruin this town after you collect your money, as far as I am concern she can die."

"We will not collect a dime if she survives. Just please help her!"
