He wonders why he didn't love her from the first moment he saw her.
She's more cynical now. with a crueler and kinder handle on the world. It's easier to make her cry rather than to make her flustered- she's more compassionate now. She doesn't care so much for anything that doesn't concern her being absolutely and directly- it makes her a better person probably.
She's lonely because she's never been good at making friends and not everyone exactly likes her with her nose in the hair and the way she struts and doesn't walk and (she really is beautiful- gorgeous even.) it's not so much a mentality as a way she is. And not so much the way she is as the way she's trying to get through.( sometimes he's not sure what the facade is because he's seen her with her knees against her chest crying also)
He wonders why because here she is sitting right beside him and, his friend (or more-than-friend- she just kissed him and gods above does he want to do it again) and he might have been the one who took longer to get over childhood rivals and guardian duties, but he managed to see the way her eyes looked away when she realized that she wasn't part of a conversation. He was the one who said hi first, and took the time to take in everything that was her- from the not-so-bad history jokes to the actually-not-funny English puns-.
It's the hardest dance he's ever performed, until he goes with the flow- her flow- and he kisses her.
an/ kind of a thing I might do something with once I rewatch the series, and so I guess I'm writing for SC again! Ive gotten better if I sat so myself, I used to be on here by another name, RimaNagi4Ever, I thought us upload it anyway. Review!
