Total's POV
"Angel!" I yipped. "Nooo flying! Akila just got back! I need to see her!"
"Total," moaned Angel, "Just for a few minutes!"
"Noooooooo!!!" I protested.
"Pleeaaasse?!?!?" Angel cooed.
Ugghh! I thought. She's using those stupid Bambi eyes!
"Fine..." I gave in.
"Yay!" Angel squealed with delight. "C'mon!"
She dragged me to the edge of the hill, and we took off.
Ahhh. I do love flying, but it can really wear a dog out! We were soaring over the Martinez's huge yard. They recently bought a house in Vermont, because the flock and I decided to stay with her. We swooped over the lake, and coasted on the wind currents. I saw the van that was carrying Aklia, the love of my life. Her owner, Bridgid, gave her to us because, well we kinda did save the world from utter destruction. Well, I get to see her soon.
Angel and I landed in the forest by the house. I ran as fast as my little puppy legs could take me, and saw Akila. Man, was she beautiful. Her glossy black and white coat was glistening in the sunlight, and her eyes sparkled like the stars.
I guess that a talking dog isn't the norm, and Akila couldn't. Us dogs could, however, communicate telepathically.
Total, Akila thought. It's great to see you!
You too, my love.
Total?
Yes, Akila darling?
I'm expecting puppies.
When?
In two months.
That's great!
But there is one problem.
What is it, my love?
The vet doesn't expect me to make it past the delivery.
Oh nooo! What will happen next? Stay tuned for the next chappie! Wow, I sound like some lame soap opera spokesperson... Review!! Love ya guys!!!!! :D
