Say My Name

Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto.

Summary: "Hey," Sasuke said, expecting Naruto to be his usual happy, hyper self but what he got was something else…. "I miss the sound of your voice."

They were over, done. She couldn't believe it. He had to move away and the long distance relationship just couldn't work out. 'I'm going to stop talking because everything I do is for him," she said to herself, crying. Tears cascaded down her face and on to her pillow. She cried herself to sleep that night, so did he.

The years passed and Sasuke finally came back. He exited the airport to be met by Naruto. "Hey," Sasuke said, expecting Naruto to be his usual happy, hyper self but what he got was something else. "Sasuke, Sakura's not talking. She stopped talking when you left," Naruto said sadly. "Why didn't you tell me?" Sasuke said a bit harshly. Naruto's eyes averted to the ground. Sasuke, calmer than before asked Naruto a question. "Naruto," Naruto's eyes watched Sasuke's movements, "Carry me to Sakura's house, please." Naruto grinned his normal grin. "No problem."

"Sakura," Naruto said, "you have a visitor." The door revealed a girl-now a woman- by the door. "Hi," Sasuke said in his cool voice. Shocked eyes watched Sasuke. Tears started to fall from Sakura's eyes. By this time Naruto left the couple alone. "I hear that you're not speaking anymore since I left," Sasuke said gently. Her eyes went down. "I miss the sound voice, Sakura. It makes me go on with my day. God, your laugh, your smile, everything. Sakura, I love you," he said. Sakura's head rose up. Her eyes sparkled and she smiled that smile that he loved. She hugged him tightly. "Sasuke," she said. It came out croaky and hoarse but he was glad to hear her voice again. "Shh, take your time." They stood there in silence. No words were needed to be said because he knew that she loved him. She didn't say it directly but he knew, because silent love was and is the best kind.
