A/N: Yes. I do Percy Jackson too. I'm not an all out Tangled girl! Okay… so I might be, I just have to write stuff like this once in a while, you know? Guess what my favorite PJO pairing is? Actually… don't guess. You'll see. Don't own PJO, Rick Riordan my fellow Janus does. Guess where that's from.

Percy saw Travis coming before he knocked, but pretended not to notice and shifted his eyes back to the outrageously thick manual that came with the laptop Annabeth gave him for Christmas. When Travis finally did knock, Percy simply yelled, "Come in!" Travis walked in and plopped down right next to him on his bunk. He scooted closer, pretending to be interested. "What'cha readin'?" Percy scooted away. "Umm, a computer manual that you would have no reason to be interested in, so… what's up, dude?" Travis let his head fall into his hands and mumbled something Percy couldn't detect. "What?" "I need love advice," he moaned.

Percy blanked out fo a second. "Excuse me, what?" "Seriously, dude, don't make me have to say it again." Percy sighed. "First off, why me? Couldn't you just ask some Aphrodite girl?"

"Well, you're a dude, and they're girls-"

"Man, that sounds sexist-"

"And then you and Annabeth have that… thing going on." Percy smiled. "Yeah, that thing." They sat there for a moment in awkward silence. "so, who's the lucky gal?" Travis let out another undetectable moan.

"'C'mon, Travie, be a man."

"Katie Gardener."

"Whoa. I zoned out for a sec, what?"

"Katie Gardener."

"Hold on, I haven't cleaned my ears out in a while-"

"Dude!"

"Okay, okay!" Percy grinned holding his hands up in surrender. "We all know you have this… thing for her."

"Is it that obvious?"

"Mmhm."

Travis groaned. "Great."

"Well, back to the point-" Percy rubbed his hands together. "You said you needed advice?" "I just need to know how to get to her-"

"Presents."

"What kind?"

"Well, she's a daughter of Demeter, isn't she?"

o~*~o

And that was how Travis got sent to the Demeter cabin with a bag full of fertilizer. He knocked on the door and Katie herself opened it, her head turned away from him laughing at some joke on of her sisters made. Her smiled disappeared in shock when she saw him, but then spread in a small grin from the right corner of her lips. "Travis."

"Katie."

"May I help you with something?"

"Yeah, umm, listen, I've got something for you." He held out the fertilizer, his grin broad on his face. Hers completely disappeared. A bunch of snickers came from her siblings. Travis frowned. "Is something wrong?"

Katie forced a smile through her gritted teeth. "Listen, Travis, Travie, Mr. Stoll-"

"Yeah?"

"I'm pretty sure I could grow plants fine without fertilizer."

Travis inwardly kicked himself. "I guess I'll just go dump this then-"

"But I just happen to know exactly who would need some!"

"Who?"

o~*~o

Travis left the Demeter cabin with fertilizer all over his hair and shoulders. He headed straight for the Poseidon cabin. He had some choice words for Percy, some of which including a certain thick manual and a certain thick head.
