Icha Icha Paradise or Iruka Umino

Fuck.

I had one choice to make….one agonizing choice that may or may not ruin my life.

And what was that choice, you ask? My beloved Icha Icha Paradise or my lover, Iruka.

I had no idea what my answer was as I knocked on Iruka's door. A muffled "Wait" answered and I shuffled my feet, waiting for the chunin to answer. A minute later he opened the door.

"Ah. Hello, Kakashi-kun. Have you made your choice?" He leaned casually against the door frame as he spoke and I knew my answer.

"Yes." I blinked.

"And that choice would be?" I held out my hands.

"Give me my books." His eyes widened before blurring with tears, which I hated automatically.

"O-Okay…..Wait here." And with that he shuffled back into the house, the house I loved. He shuffled back out and handed the box into my awaiting arms.

"Thank you." I turned on my heel, feeling his eyes on my back as I walked down his driveway. My keen senses picked up the sound of his door beginning to squeak shut and I hurried my pace, trying to make it to the garbage can. Before the door closed, I had the lid off and was shoving the books in. I slammed the lid shut, muttering to the books that I would come back later. I looked up at the surprised chunin and smiled.

"When's dinner?" I walked up to him and scooped him into a hug.

"In about 15 minutes." I smiled and ushered him into his own house, silently closing the door, but not before sneaking another look at the trashcan.

"Kakashi-kun. I want to thank you." I crinkled my eye, smiling in my own way.

"For what?" He smiled and blushed, making his scar show more prominently.

"For choosing me."

"Oh. That. There's no reason to thank me. It was simply a matter of who I loved more. And that was you." I hugged him, making him blush even darker.

"Yes. I noticed that. So I'm making you a deal." I stared at him, stunned.

"A deal?"

"Yes, a deal."

"Okay. And may I ask what that deal is?"

"If you'll love me `till the end of the universe I'll let you have your precious Icha Icha Paradise." My one visible eye widened at his words.

"Seriously?"

"Of course."

"Oh, Iruka! I'll love you `till the end of three universes!!!!" And with that I ran out the door to the trashcan. "Aww! I'm so sorry!" I rushed back in with the books, cradling them as if they were breakable. Iruka stared in amazement.

Yes. Kakashi loved him more than that. He was sure of it.

I plopped the books down onto the table and turned to Iruka.

"I love you!" And I kissed him.
