In Kiru City inside the Arsenal, Olkiex, a large beaver-like creature with four arms was repairing battle gear for his boss, Bodal.
"Olkiex! Come here!." Bodal yelled from his office.
Olkiex nervously swallowed afraid that he was in trouble.
Walking into Bodal's office, he saw that Bodal was putting away his scrolls and other papers. This puzzled him, because Bodal only does that when he was done working for the day and was getting ready to go home.
"You need me, Sir?" Olkiex asked with a drop of sweat on his forehead.
"You may stop working for today. Maxxor is giving us the day off." the small green guy said, not even looking at Olkiex as he continued to put his stuff away.
"Why?" Olkiex asked. Normally they would stay here until every thing was done and they still had a lot of work to do.
"Because of the peace time we have had there is no need for us to work as long." he replied.
"But what will I do for the rest of the day?" asked Olkiex. He never really had a day off before mainly, because he loves to work.
"I don't know. Go find something to do and don't ask to stay here and work. For some reason, Maxxor thinks I over work you and if he comes here and sees you working while I'm gone, he might yell at me." he said sternly, he than walked pass Olkiex and left for the day.
Olkiex had no idea what he should do now. Normally he worked all day or run some errands for Bodal; his life was centered around working. He thought of his friends he meet through his work and know they were busy during the day, so he couldn't see them that left him with nothing else to do untill they get off work which would be hours away. Thinking and coming up with nothing, he decided to just walk around the city and try to find something to occupy his time.
A few minutes later, Olkiex was walking on the city streets, trying to find something to do.
As he was walking, he saw the Kiru City History Museum up ahead.
"It's been awhile since I've visited the museum; At lest it's something to do." he said to himself as he walked towards the massive museum.
After a quick walk, Olkiex was now inside the museum in the fossil section. Because it was in the middle of the day there was not many creatures around, since most were at work or school.
The different fossilised bone's size ranged from tiny teeth smaller than a nut to massive bones that were bigger than a cruise ship. Moving on, Olkiex was looking at a large skeleton of a creature that looked like a T-rex.
As he was looking at the thing's legs, he saw that one of the bolts was slightly unscrewed. He thought about telling one of the employs, but there was nobody around. So then he thought who better than him to simply tighten the bolt; he does all the time at work.
Taking out his wrench from his tool belt ( which he wears every where he goes) he began to tighten the bolt.
Unfortunately the bolt had been left that way for a reason; if the bolt had been tightened any more there was a risk of the bone breaking.
A crack began to split up the leg bone and it broke in half.
"Oh no." Olkiex said before the whole skeleton crashed down around him. Thankfully the massive bones didn't hit him, they just landed around him.
The sound of the skeleton crashing into hundreds of pieces get the attention of the guards and the came running into the room like a swarm of angry bees.
"What happened here!" demanded one of the guard that looked like the head of security. Olkiex was now wearing a guilty look and the guards were not happy at all.
Some time later that day, Olkiex was still at the museum, wearing a gray jumpsuit and holding a broom.
The museum manager told him that if he didn't want them to charge him for the skeleton, which cost 5,000 golds, then he would have to work museum until the debate was paid in full.
"At least I fond something to do on my day off and all my other days off for the next fifty solans." he sighed.
