How to ask out your former mortal enemy

Trent looked around the dino lab after a training session and studied his fellow rangers they were so different yet so close. Conner McKnight was the leader, red, obviously, and clearly distrusted Trent. Any who doubted his feelings simply had to look at thee bruises Conner inflicted. Conner had two other interests: soccer and girls. Soccer bored him and Trent personally found the girl chasing disgusting and shallow.

Ethan, blue, was a video game wizard. He got along well with everyone and was willing to put Trents stint as the evil white ranger behind them.

Hayley, the tech advisor, was at the computer working on some new weapon. She was also Trents boss, as Trent worked at the cyber-café that was her "real" job.

Dr.O was the black ranger and mentor. He had forgiven Trent the easiest, having once been an evil ranger himself. Trent knew that Dr.O understood the guilt and acted as trents father figure, as Trents real (adoptive) dads alter-ego was the sicko they were fighting and wanted him dead.

Trent sighed as he looked at the last member of the team. Kira. Kira was the yellow ranger, fiercely independent, a musician, unconventionally beautiful, and the girl Trent had wanted since they met. When he had first figured out he was the white ranger, the only person he trusted enough to tell was kira. She hadn't judged him, wanted to help him, and never gave up on him, according to Ethan anyway. Trent knew he loved her with all his heart, but when he looked at her, bent over a notepad, writing away, he realized there was one thing he did not know: how to ask out his former mortal enemy.
