Always For-Never Ever
Introduction:
Steve?
(Narrators P.O.V.)
The man was just as busy as ever, looking for ores in a small cave he found out-side the ruined remains of his
so-called home…His light blue shirt and dark blue pants would get coal smeared on them now and then, but
he would just brush it off. The man was lost in thought…unconsciously swinging his diamond pic at some iron.
When the girl appeared behind him, he didn't even notice…until he heard that voice. That same voice.
"Steve?"
He completely froze in his tracks…All he wanted to do at that moment was turn around and grab her in his arms…but he needed to know. He needed to make sure it was really her.
"Yes?" He replied, still looking at the iron ore in front of him.
The girl was almost in tears. "S-Steven?…Is Th-that r-really you?…" She asked, trembling.
The man turned around, and smiled at her. A warm smile that you only see from a lover.
She drew in her breath sharply, and dropped the grass block she was holding on the cold stone floor, tears forming in her eyes, threatening to fall.
And they did…
"Y…You're…You're alive!" Said the girl, starting to cry.
"Alive,…And waiting. For three years to be exact…" He stood up and walked over to her. "It's been so lonely here. Without you…"
"Steve…" The girl said, throwing herself into his arms.
"STEVE! I'M SORRY, I'M SORRY, I'M SORRYYYYYYY!" She screamed. "IT WAS ALL MY FAULT! I NEVER SHOULD HAVE LEFT YOU!" She said as she sobbed into his chest, staining his shirt with her tears.
"Shhhhh, it's not your fault, calm down, calm down…" He said as he gently kissed her for-head.
"Bu-BUT I, I DR-ROVE YOU AWAY!" "I-I SAW Y-OU D-DIE! I HATED MYSELF FOR THREE YEARS, KNOWING IT WAS ALL MY FAULT!" "Three MISERABLE years, Steven!" She screamed.
He whispered softly in her ear, "But…I'm alive. So there's nothing to worry about, right?"
"Well...Y-yeah, I guess…I'm just so glad you're alive!" The girl stopped crying as he held her face in his hands.
He stared into her eyes...her beautiful big eyes.
"And I'm glad you remembered me. I always knew you'd come back. I love you."
He had said it...and she had been waiting for it. And she didn't want to wait any longer.
He was going to say something else, but he didn't get the chance.
She didn't need to hear it.
She already knew what he was going to say. What she needed was something she had been waiting for for three years.
Something she thought she would never again get the chance to do.
Kiss.
And that's what they did.
Chapter One:
I Am Newbie.
...
The Devil's Replacement -
"Millions of years ago, long in the past...There was a man named, 'Notch'...
This man, was considered to be the god of a small world in the galaxy. Notch had become so lonely, living by
himself, with no family, and no friends. For this reason, he took the opportunity to build a brother.
He took some clouds, and with it he formed a brain. He took some sea coral, and carved skeleton. He then
finished it off by taking some clay, and smearing it all over until it became his skin.
'It is done. I have created you, and now I will bring you life. You shall be my beloved brother, and I shall
name you...Brine, after the elements you were created from' He said.
And thus, the dear brother was born.
Though, no one is perfect. Not even god.
Notch had forgotten what might have been the most important thing.
A heart...And shortly after his birth, Brine had already been planning to overthrow his brother and take over
as god. But Notch knew of this, and when he found out, he summoned Brine.
'I have treated you with nothing but respect. I am your creator, and you are my brother. And I love you like
one. But I am the god of this world, and I am the only one suitable to rule it. For this reason, I banish thee to
the depths of the Nether! Be-gone!' He shouted, as he sent his creation down to the depths of hell.
Brine spent many years working as a slave to the devil, working his way up to his personal servant, his
hatred of his brother growing more with each day.
He sucked up to the devil, and unlike the mighty Notch, Satan quite appreciated his servants efforts at
over-throwing him. So much, in fact, that one day,
Satan summoned Brine to his throne, to make an arrangement...
'My son...Who I am proud to call my child...I have something of great importance to discuss with you.'
He said. 'Yes, my Lord. For what reason do you require my assistance. Ask, and it shall be done.'
'No need to be so formal, Brine. For many years of great service as my shadow, my apprentice...
I have decided to reward you for your efforts.'
'It's about dang time' Said Brine. 'Yes, it certainly is...' Said Satan, looking to the side.
He sighed. 'You see...My son. I, Satan...am dying. My time, is almost over.'
Brine looks up at him with disbelief. 'But how can that be?'
'Millions of years ago, my father, Lucius, had said the same thing to me. No, he did not look like me,
actually, he was a big, black, smoky, floating, sphere. He told me that if he where to die, I would take his
place. He then showed me an infinite amount of shapes and skins that I could take the form of. And so I
chose the one I thought looked fitting. A large, red, demon with big horns and goat legs.'
'A bold decision, but what should this have to do with me?' Asked Brine.
'I never had a son...But 15 years ago, when I first found out that I my life was slowly inching its way towards
it's end, I began searching for the perfect replacement. It was a very slow fifteen years. No one even came
close to possessing the evil I did. But then...Ten years in, you came along...
Your constant attempts at robbing me of my throne have proven to me that you might be the only one
capable of taking my place...So, my child. It is for these reasons that I would be proud, to leave you
as my successor.'
'I think I'll pass...'
'HA! That's a good one.'
'Sir, it would be an honour'
'Wise. Now, let it be known, that you are the new Lord of the under-world, and you rule it with an iron-fist!'
'It feels good to be king.'
'Well, almost king. If you want to be the devil, you can not be living inside the skin that god gave you...'
'As always, you are correct.'
'I see all. Therefore, Look into my eyes and choose. Choose, from the infinite shapes, skins, and colours; the
one to be known as the great and powerful Nether king.'
'I choose...That one.'
'What? That man? A puny human? He's just an innocent man, who couldn't harm a thing.'
'They'll never see it comming...Plus, I like ruining the spitting image of innocence.'
'Ha, You'll made a great Devil, kid...
There's just TWO things that you still need.'
'And what may that be?'
'You must vow to be purely evil, the epitome of darkness and despair, and not have a single strand of mercy
for anyone or anything.'
'Done. Sounds like a plan.'
'And lastly...You need to give up one thing...One part of your body must be ripped away from you.
Something you need to survive. I gave up my nerves, so if I was ever killed, I would be able to be re-born by
feeding off the pain felt by people around me...'
'Hmmm...My eyes.'
'Are you sure?'
'Yes'
'Ok...Now, if you ever die somehow, you will be able to transfer your 'soul', yes, you still have one, into the
nearest form of life, excluding trees, and live inside their skin. Though, you will be very weak, so if the
host gets knocked out, so will you. If they are killed, so will you. If you die in them, so will they. You get it.
Now, if you don't consume a source of eye's, let's make it, 'an Ender Eye', in a certain amount of time, your
soul will die completely, and you will never be able to come back. But as soon as you get hold of an Eye of
Ender, your soul will exit the host's body, and take back the original form. Do you understand?'
'I think so'
'Good...Now, you just need a name...'
'I think I want to make it something...Ironic.'
'Oh?...Than what about, say...Hero?'
'Hero...Brine...'
'Oh, that's bad-ass.'
'Yeah...I like it.'
'Well, HeroBrine, I have a feeling that you will make for a fine leader.'
'Thank you, my lord.'
'Hey, that's not me. I don't know who the hell you're talking to. You're the lord now.
The time for all of my knowledge to be transferred to you is almost upon us.
About 24 seconds. Oh, that reminds me, HeroBrine, Under NO circumstances, should you ever, EVER, make
contact with a heart. Is that clear?'
'Understood'
Satan smiled. 'Hm. I'm honoured to leave you in my place, my child...Pardon, my Lord.'
Satan's body then began to disintegrate into ashes as his thoughts and memories were all sucked into
HeroBrine's brain.
'And I'm proud to be your successor...
...
my son...'
HeroBrine then left the room and walked onto a large balcony over-looking the nether.
'Slaves, mutants...Today, a new leader has been bestowed upon you...'
Brine shouted.
...and his name, is HEROBRINE!'
And that is the story of how HeroBrine became the ruler of the under-world..."

(Steve's P.O.V.)
My name is Steven. Or Steve, for short. I a normal person with a normal problem.
I am skinny, not that muscular, about 1.80 blocks tall…a little short but, whatever. Partially tanned skin, and dark brown hair. I live by my-self. Of course, I make sure of that. I am completely secluded. An entire 600 by 600 block area all too my-self. I live in solitude. I have no friends. Not that I don't want any, in fact; I would love some, but…Well…That is my problem. I just don't trust people.
I am what you might call, a noob…being scared of people…but I make up for it with my creations. My buildings are all interesting, safe and neat. I have Cottages, penthouses, cabins, hotels, cabin hotels, hotels that look like a giant beds, monster statues, enormous castles, observatory's, hillside suites, subways, bridges, side-ways houses, villages, giant book case-shaped libraries, watch towers, nuclear fallout safes, igloos, lighthouses, mansions, under-water aquariums, nether bunkers, beach houses, ranches, manors, and so on…All connected by mine rails and carts.
Honestly. I just don't know how they can still call me a noob…But It's not like I care. I know I am not a noob. Just because I avoid fights and live in solitude doesn't mean I don't know what I'm doing. Besides, they would probably destroy everything any way. Just like those damn mobs. But if there is one creäture I don't mind having around…it's the Endermen.
I love Endermen. Who doesn't love Endermen? They're just SO awesome! Sure they'll…take one or two blocks from you every now and then…But They're amazing! And they're not like those stupid-ass creepers who destroy everything, or any of the other monsters that are always out to get you…
And as long as you leave them alone, they'll leave you alone…just like me.
