Hey, I'm back with some random oneshots I've written. Please R&R.
Let the show begin...
It was a cold, windy night. Mom and dad had gone to my aunt's house. I was alone watching a horror movie at home. It was raining heavily outside and I didn't realize that until the power went out. I went near the window to close it as cold wind and rain were entering the house. I saw that the roads were flooded and electric wires had fallen down. I suddenly heard a sound from my backyard. I took my torch and ran towards it to see what happened.
Just when I was about to reach, my parents called me on my cell and told me that they had to spend the night at my aunt's house because the roads were blocked. They tried to be calm while they told me to be careful and not let anyone in or to go out before they came but I knew that they were afraid of how I would stay as I was never alone at night before.
Just when I cut the call after a minute I heard the sound again. I continued on my way to the back porch. I was lucky that I didn't go all the way as I saw a man entering through the broken panes of the sliding doors of my porch. I hid in the shadows and saw where the man was headed, unknowingly because of the dark, the bathroom. Me having a good night vision and knowing my house like the back of my hand also helped in noticing where the man was moving to. I followed him while in the shadows and as soon as he entered the bathroom, I crept over, closed the door and locked it on his back. I walked to the telephone and called the police and informed them about what happened.
In the morning, when the police reached my home, I showed them the bathroom where I caught the man. Meeting me was a daily occurrence to them, and they weren't surprised when I showed them the man, who was later identified to be an infamous burglar who was targeting Tokyo these days. My parent were stunned to see my courage as they never expected that of me even when I am part of the most famous detective club in Tokyo. Wondering who I am? I am Yoshida Ayumi, member of the Shonen tantei-dan, the best detective club there is.
This won't have regular updates. I will only update it when I feel like it.
