"I'm going to tell them the truth."

"You can't."

"I can't allow you to die for me Finn!" Raven slams both fists on the table that separated them.

"They may not float me." He mutters not believing it. Of course they would.

"I stole three months of oxygen th.."

"I stole three months of oxygen." Finn interrupts keeping onto the lie.

"Stop it! Ok just stop it! You don't deserve this." He leans forward and lays a hand atop of hers.

"And you do? Raven you are amazing. Incredible. We need people like you. Miss youngest zero-g mechanic in history! Me? Not so much."

"Without you it won't matter." She whispers fighting the tears.

"I won't always be here. Please allow me to do this for you. Allow me to give the gift of life."

"It's not fair." Finn can barely hear her.

"No it isn't. But little is fair or right on the Ark. Someone has to pay. We both know it. And we both know I'm far more expendable." He laughs awkwardly.

"Stop saying that. You are just as worthy as I am. More if you ask me."

"Well it's a good thing I didn't ask you than Raven Reyes! Look I don't turn eighteen for another two months we have time."

"Time for what? Count the seconds to your sacrifice? Count the seconds until I stop being?" Finn sighs.

"Time to enjoy each others company. And who knows maybe they'll find away to get on the Earth by then?" They both exchange a look and burst out laughing.

"See? This is why I can't lose you Finn." Raven says in between the giggles.
