Behind closed doors,
Things lay hidden.
Locked away,
Not to come unless bidden.
Behind closed doors,
We lock our tears.
That come unbidden,
Caused by fears.
Behind closed doors,
Lay secrets unknown.
Left behind,
In great tombs of stone.
Behind closed doors,
Things lay forgotten.
Never to be known,
Forever forgotten.
Behind closed doors,
We find things of old.
Left by hands,
Long gone cold.
Behind closed doors lay things unsafe,
Afraid of the damage they may reap.
Behind locked doors,
Them we keep.
Behind locked doors,
We feel safe.
In locked doors,
We lay our faith.
