Everything was a blur. Suddenly the room began to shake, the tile that lied
beneath her was quivering as tears stung her eyes. A lump formed in her
throat and she swallowed hard. She blinked a few times in an effort to
fight the tears that now welled up in her eyes; her cheeks were stinging
where the tears had streaked down her face. She felt a cramp stabbing at
her side. Then, the pain and sorrow she felt was overwhelmed with anger.
Rage surged through her body like bolts of electricity as she remembered
what had happened that night.
Had he really done that to her, she thought bitterly. Could someone who she loved with every fiber of her being have betrayed her like this? All kinds of questions raced through her mind as she relived the beginning of her life, as she knew it..
