A/N: A little Christmas present for all YYH fans. Please be nice, this my is my first YYH fic. It's a song fic with the song "The 12 Things of Christmas That Are Such a Pain to Me". If you've never heard that song, I'm sorry. It's really quite funny. Also, if you've heard the song and know it well, I'm sorry, but I won't have the exact words cuz I don't know them really…the guy hanging light will always be 'Rigging up the lights' and not the other things he says…sorry again. I find it very funny too…
Disclaimer: If I owned YYH or this song, I wouldn't be wasting my time sitting here writing stories. I'd be making this into some episodes and translating some more for everyone…

The first thing of Christmas that's such a pain to me,
Finding a Christmas tree.

"This one?"
"Too small."
"This one?"
"No, Hiei, it's sick."
"Fox, just pick a tree! They're all green!"
"You don't have to yell. We'll be done soon." Kurama said examining more Christmas trees. Hiei sighed.
"This one?"
"It's too tall."
Kurama continued his search as Hiei tried with all his might to keep from using the mortal flame to burn them all to a crisp.
"Baka kitsune…baka ningen holiday…baka trees…" Hiei muttered following Kurama through the tree lot.
The two had been the lucky ones selected for tree duty. Everyone was getting together as Genkai's temple for a big party on Christmas, 2 days away.
Not understanding why people bother with all this, Hiei was thoroughly annoyed with the holiday and everything having to do with it…especially the trees. They had started the search at 10:30am and it was now 4:00pm. 5 ½ hours of trees not counting a 1 hour lunch break was far too much for the fire demon. The youko, however, seemed to be enjoying it.
"This one will do." Kurama said as he paid the tree man. They took the tree to Kurama's car and headed off for Genkai's.

A/N: Sorry this is so short. It's past midnight at the moment and I have to be up before 9am…I planned on posting the whole story at once, all 12 chapters, but I didn't get them done it time. I'll try to have a chapter a day, but I'm not promising anything…I really hate to break promises and making ones I can't really keep. I'll have the next one soon though for sure. Merry Christmas to all!!!!!!!! One last thing, please don't review telling me "Youko" is spelled wrong. Yoko is a whole different word. It means something along the lines of "to the side of" and youko is the fox. I'm learning Japanese this year! I'm quite proud of myself^_^.
