Licy watched as dad was taken away in his car, he was going on another business trip. Leaving just her and the maids, she always hated when he would leave. He would give the maids strict instructions to not let Lucy out of the house, except the court yard. Even the maids know how adventurous she is, they know how much she sneaks out at night when her dad is sleeping or on a business trip.

The maids pity her, and yet, they don't even bother to give her a wink or to help her out.

Lucy groaned and rolled off of her window seat, she was so bored. She've been pacing back and forth in her room trying to make a plan to sneak out tonight while her dad isn't here, she's thought of almost all the possibilities she could think of, but they would always run to a dead end.

She would've been reading her books, but she've read every single book on her bookshelf and in the library enough to know what happens. Lucy would've gone downstairs to eat, but she's not hungry and ate an hour ago.

Lucy let out a desperate call for a maid, needing entertainment. None came.

She looked at the clock that was on her nightstand, and sighed. She thought that she could just go to bed now and wake up in the middle of the night, then could sneak out then.

She sighed and approached her clock, and set her alarm for 2AM, packed her stuff. She packed enough clothes that could last her for about three days. She had plenty of money so if she runs out she could just make a run for more clothes.

Lucy hid the bag under her bed and placed her body under the bed covers. Snuggling into a comfortable position and felt herself drift to sleep.

Waking up was hard. She couldn't bring hersel to open her eyes because she was so tired. But, the wanting to get out of the house and be free was what motivational enough to make her get out of bed.

She changed into leggings and a plain T-shirt and a hoodie placed over it, it was cold outside. Almost mid winter, not the best attire, but she was lucky enough to get a map from one of the motels was close enough for her to walk. Lucy knew she could survive a few miles till she hit it.

Lucy grabbed her bag from under her bed and approached her window. Opening it up and slowly climbing down. She was unfortunate enough to get a room on the second floor, and she want going to risk passing a maid or a butler on the way down to the front door.

When Lucy was just a few feet away from the ground, she dropped. Ignoring the pains in her ankles, and she trooped through her big front yard and started walking down the driveway, hoping that she would run into the motel sooner.
