"You're hurting, Naruto-kun."

Naruto straightened from his slouching position on his couch, looking at Hinata in surprise. He was drifting off to sleep when he heard his girlfriend speak, and the fact that she called out to him caught his attention. "What makes you say that?" he asked. Had he really been that transparent? He took a look at her and noticed the tight grip she had on the hem of her jacket. They had been resting in his apartment after their training earlier this morning and ended up on his couch after a rather large lunch Hinata had made herself.

She ducked her head shyly with his gaze on her and said, "W-well, I-I can see it."

He inched closer toward her, their thighs touching. "See what, Hinata?" He craned his neck so he could see her better, and smiled. She lifted her head up slowly, her cheeks red and lips trembling, trying to lean back into the couch. "I'm not hurt."

Hinata shook her head. "N-no, Naruto-kun. Y-your feelings are bottled up inside you," she said, turning her head so as to hide her blush. She had been meaning to tell him for quite some time now, but never found the courage to do so. She figured it was now or never, and went ahead and did what she thought was right. She didn't like it when Naruto was hurt, or lonely. He needed to talk about whatever was on his mind, or else he'd be even more hurt, and more than anything, she was willing to listen. She locked eyes with his, as if to prove her point. Naruto tilted his head and looked at her with a face of confusion.

"Really?" he asked, scratching the little, but totally there, patch of peach fuzz on his chin.

Hinata nodded and wrung her hands together, looking at him with big eyes. "I-I think... I think you have to let it out. It's not good to hold it inside you, Naruto-kun."

Naruto smiled, admiring her kindness. Then, suddenly, a hint of mischief glinted in his eyes, but it quickly passed, making Hinata think she had just imagined it. But then, he said, "I'm really glad you noticed, Hinata." He gave her a sincere smile. "Thank-you..."

She shook her head. "D-do you want to talk about it? It'll feel good once y-you get it off your chest." She smiled up at him glad he wasn't closing up.

Naruto nodded his head vigorously and gave her a foxy grin. "I've been wanting to let it this out for a while now, but I wasn't sure if it was OK..."

"N-no, Naruto-kun, I would be happy to listen!" Hinata exclaimed, scooting closer to him and laying a hand of comfort on his shoulder.

Naruto sighed, "OK, here it goes..."

Hinata nodded her head encouragingly, oblivious about what he was about to do.

Then, the unexpected happened, but then again, Naruto was known to be the most unpredictable knuckleheaded ninja.

He farted.

"Ahhhh!" Naruto exclaimed feeling refreshed. "You were right, Hinata!! It DOES feel good!"
