Shades of Gray: Severus Snape

Dear Editor,
Severus Snape is a very difficult man because of how many see fit to place him. Some would swear he is evil through and through and only had the proper people fooled. Others would say he was always truly good. Anyone who characterizes to such an extreme will be sorely mistaken. Severus Snape is not black or white. He lived in a world full of gray. A life of pain and anger. He made some terrible choices and tried his damndest to make up for them. I have come to realize that no one, no where in this world is truly good or evil, black or white. We all have flaws, we all make mistakes, and hopefully we all learn from them. For some it takes once, for others it can take a lifetime. It is my belief that Severus Snape can teach us all a little something about never giving up. After all he's been through, all he's fought for, he stood and looked death right in the face. He didn't back down although he knew it was bound to happen, knew it was coming. Severus Snape never gave up. He fought for his shade of gray. Will you continue fighting for yours?
Sincerily,
Harry James Potter
Just a small thought to make people think :)
