Busy, today was a busy day to the American continent...the date?
1st of July of the year 2012.
Why was this a busy day?
To begin with it was Canada Day, so Matthew was very busy attending concerts dancing and celebrating with his provinces. Also getting a little bit drunk was part of the bargain, I mean how many times you turn 145 years old?
He didn't need anyone to remember him that day he was happy by himself with his 'kids'. Even so England and Alfred did show up to congratulate him, not that they lingered long. England was very, VERY busy with the Olympics that were less than a month away. Alfred in the other hand was also very busy with his own birthday that was less than a week away. Matthew didn't mind he was perfecly happy.
The same couldn't be said for the southernmost country of North America.
Mexico.
The poor girl was biting her nails off and her 'children' were looking at each other as they changed shirts as the night want by. Worst of all, Mexico was starting to feel sick like six years ago, she was feeling as if three persons were bickering inside her head. Causing her a terrible headache.
"Give 'him' another chance, 'he' controlled you for good 70 years in a row"
"Don't listen! It's time for a radical change! The right side only dug our grave, left will be great!"
"Both of 'them' are wrong! You need to stay and to give a woman a chance, isn't what you longed all this years?"
"Shut up!"she said tossing in her bed restless, she knew that deep inside that the first voice was wining the narrow space in her body. But the second voice was also very serious.
What will happen to her?
The country was divided, literally her waist down was crying for a radical change, most of her upper body wanted to a more 'peaceful' time. She pulled her hair as she grunted ,whatever the choice was at the end, she hoped was the best for her.
Otherwise she'll be over the edge ready to fall to the point of no return.

A while since I hadn't posting something about Mexico.
So yeah, today were the Federal elections, and again the things look...pfff...as always. For those who don't know.
After the Mexican Revolution a political Party called 'PRI' and ruled Mexico for almost 70 years, even if it did do great good and did pushed Mexico forward, the presidents were corrupt and brutal. In 2000 the rival party 'PAN' won the presidency and people hoped for a change. After the president ended his turn a third party the 'PRD' was ready to win 2006 elections, but after a VERY turbulent elections, the 'PAN' won with the current president Felipe Calderon, who started the so called "War" against the drug cartels.
The people get tired of all the violence so this elections are very important at this point. So we choose either to return to a violent, corrupt, but known government. Or a new government that promises a lot, but we've never experienced and most of the people are afraid of because ti too to the 'left'.
Tough choice,hu? No wonder Mariana is about to become Russia II.
