It's amazing how you can speak right to my heart

Without saying a word, you can light up the dark

Try as I may, I can never explain

What I hear when you don't say a thing

He didn't know how she did it.

It seemed like she did it without knowing. All she had to do was look at him, and his heart dissolved. Somehow she could speak to him without opening her mouth…that first glance from those intense blue eyes, and he understood.

The smile on your face lets me know that you need me

There's a truth in your eyes

Saying you'll never leave me

He still couldn't believe he had actually talked himself into jumping into her carriage the night of the dinner. Completely insane…but he never regretted it for a second. The moment that he had heard Dean say he was going with his sister, he knew what he wanted to do. The trouble was actually doing it.

The touch of your hand says you'll catch me

Wherever I fall

You say it best, when you say nothing at all

All day long I can hear people talking out loud

He had though, and those few minutes he had alone with her in that carriage meant so much to him, since her boyfriend was always around, always with her. He didn't know how she could go out with him. She was so smart, beautiful…and Dean, well, he didn't even know who Björk was.

Then, to add to the perfect ambiance of the evening, they had "helped" that overdone snowman together. Her smile, her eyes, her hair, everything had looked so perfect.

But when you hold me near, you drown out the crowd

Try as they may, they can never define

What's been said between your heart and mine

He wanted her to trust him, to come to him whenever she needed help. And she would. He knew she would come to him eventually. He could feel it. He just pictured those eyes and how whenever they looked at him, he could feel the bond he and Rory had, a bond that couldn't be broken by anything.

The smile on your face lets me know that you need me

There's a truth in your eyes saying you'll never

leave me

The touch of your hand says you'll catch me where

ever I fall

You say it best, when you say nothing at all

He just smiled up at the ceiling from his bed on the floor. He could wait.
