It seemed like she did it without knowing. All she had to do was look at him, and his heart dissolved. Somehow she could speak to him without opening her mouth…that first glance from those intense blue eyes, and he understood.

He still couldn't believe he had actually talked himself into jumping into her carriage the night of the dinner. Completely insane…but he never regretted it for a second.
