Author's Note: This is my tribute to the King of Pop. 'Nuff said.

A pair of bare feet seemed to almost glide backwards across the smooth maroon carpeting on his living room floor as Jonathan, dancing to the song emanating from the radio sitting on the coffee table in the corner, did the moonwalk.

Stark naked.

How the fuck could the loveably prissy and reserved Dr. Jonathan Crane ever be persuaded to do such a thing, you ask?

Well, if it were for the Joker, he just might do it without hesitation - but even then it would evidently require a more forceful method of encouragement.

Leaning against the doorframe in his usual wife-beater and boxer shorts and watching his partner, the clown, lustful brown eyes aflame, smirked to himself as he fingered the now-empty plastic baggie held in his gloved hand almost lovingly. He would make sure to remember to obtain more of these mysterious capsules more often - for in bringing Crane "down" to his level of insanity, they had worked wonders.

Once he had crossed the room, Jonathan spun 'round, rose up onto his toes for a brief moment, then started back the other way.

Joker, who had absolutely no idea what moonwalking was and could really care less as to what Jonathan was doing as long as he kept doing it, inquired anyway, "Whatcha doin'?"

"This is called moonwalking," his lover explained as he continued to slide, the lean muscles in his calves and thighs flexing as his heels rose and fell, "a dance move first performed back in the 1980's to this song, 'Billie Jean', by a man named Michael Jackson."

Joker's brow furrowed. "Wasn't he, uh. . ."

"He was the man whom I told you had died a few days ago, the one whose death has been all over the news lately. Later in his life he was reputed to have done naughty things to innocent little children." Jonathan giggled at a sudden realization. "You would've liked him."

"Maybe." Joker shrugged his shoulders dismissively, only half-listening and as the song ended he watched Jonathan spin 'round one final time in the middle of the room and come out of the twirl facing the clown full-front, up on his toes with his ankles crossed, his head bowed and his arms raised skyward in imitation of a popular Michael Jackson poster. His body glistened with sweat.

Joker leered, licking his lips - in this position Jonathan was terribly vulnerable.

Without warning the clown tackled the doctor to the floor, giggling at Crane's startled expression. "You asked for it." He twitched his dark brows enticingly and licked his lips again.

And then he engaged Jonathan in a deep kiss as he thanked this Jackson guy for his lover's. . .inspiration.

THE END

"Later in life he was reputed to have done naughty things to innocent little children" was based off a quote from The Killing Joke, in which the Joker gave a similar quote about the rides in the dilapidated carnival he had just "purchased", that the rides could easily maim or kill innocent little children.
