Undeniable Affections
Chapter 1:
The incident
Ino smiled as she filled the store with flowers. A usual weekday would be herself tending the Yamanaka flower shop, away from missions and whatnot. Guys would often come in and flirt with her, but she was used to that. She enjoyed the attention from the young men. However this part of her personality disgusted some. Not that she cared, though.
A male about her age walked through the walkway of the store. He inhaled the inviting scent before recognizing the blonde behind it. Smirking, he playfully made his way to Ino. It was the Inuzuka once again.
"Hey, babe," he teased while gripping her tight. Ino squealed at his tug. Although he was fairly attractive, Kiba was a playboy Ino could not approve of. She broke from his grip, slightly blushing.
"Don't you dare touch me like that," she scolded. Kiba looked at her in awe. Usually she would tease him back, but little did he know that these are the things that happen when one had developed feelings for the other.
He looked at the girl in confusion. Ino was avoiding eye contact. Her pale face was flushed with pink accents. "Are you acting this way because of the incident?" he asked while poking her tinted cheeks.
Ino crossed her arms and squinted at the boy. "Maybe."
