The fifth of the War Story series. I hope everyone is enjoying these...I'm working really hard on them and I hope to have updates at least once a week...hope. I can't promise anything.

Here is the disclaim. I do not own Naruto...but if I did...there would be more love.

Stars twinkle above me, smiling down to say hello. In the darkness of the night the moon illuminates everything so beautifully. Every daisy, black eyed susan and fox glove shown in the night among the wild grasses. Clover and Queen Anne's lace tickle my feet. From the distance you can smell the cherry blossom trees with their newly born blooms. Spring time, its so wonderful. Some say its the time of new life, and I believe it.

In the middle of the field stands the oldest willow tree known to our village. They say if you find love beneath its flowing branches nothing will ever tear you apart. This legend is what brings millions of romantics to this very spot every year, but most of them come in the day. At night, its ours. Mine and my true love's. He rigged a swing for two so we could stay out here, where we fell in love years ago, as long as we want.

"Kiba? Are you in there?"

"Yes"

I tread quietly into the branches, moving them aside as I go. I find the swing, but i don't see him. "Kiba?"

"I'm here."

"I don't see you. What are you invisible?"

"No," he chuckles,"look up."

And so I look, and there, high up in the branches sits my loving boyfriend. He's grinning down at me with the moonlight giving him a warm glow.

"Ino. My Angel."

"Yes. You're Angel. The very same angel who hasn't had a single kiss from you all day long." I pout playfully and he feigns a look of concern.

"Oh. I'm so sorry. Here," he says, hopping down from his perch, "let me make amends for this terrible crime." He leans down and kisses me deeply then caresses my face. "You're so beautiful."

He kisses me again, pulling me closer, until he has me in his arms carrying me to the swing. There he holds me until we are both fast asleep.

Hours later, I am awakened by a loud boom, instantly ,alert sets in and I am completely aware of my surroundings. I begin to cough as curls of smoke box me in. "Kiba!" I scream as I try shaking him awake. "Kiba wake up! Hurry!" He mumbles, but doesn't move.

Panic sets in as I feel an immense heat from behind. I turn to see the branches of my willow being eaten away by the flames. "Kiba!"

"What?" He says finally, and his eyes open just slightly.

"We have to leave ,right now!"

"Wh-," he is cut off by a rather large branch falling away from the foundation. Then he sees it too. The red hot chaos surrounding us. He grabs my hand and leads us away from the center.

The once beautiful green tendrils, now encompassed in flames, hit us on our way out. It burns. And the only thing I can think is that maybe I died in my sleep and that this is hell, but then, we finally make it out and into a world of burning snow, and I realize that its not. Not really. Its just hell to me. Hell in my eyes because what once was my heaven has been lost.

Konoha has entered war...and for me its personal.

Tragic..isn't it?

Review and let me know what you'd like to see happen ...in any of the series...
