Hello people, this is my first Fanfiction story based on my favorite band "One Direction." I hope you all enjoy it and I'm so sorry that this chapter is short, but I promise the next chapter will be longer. Please review my story and no flames please. I hope you will enjoy it.

"Now she's feeling so low since she went solo hole in the middle of my heart like a polo and it's no joke to me so can we do it all over again? If you're pretending from the start like this with a tight grip, then my kiss can mend your broken heart…"
There is a loud knocking on the door. I groaned as I turned down the music on my laptop.
"What?!" I yell at the vibrating door pounding of thuds.
"Clara, it's time to go to first period! What the hell are you doing in there," I heard my bff/roommate Elizabeth called behind the door.
"Uggh, go away Elizabeth, I don't want to go to school," says I as I drown in my melancholic mood, tears streaming down my face.
"Well, you have to! We can't miss the first day of college! SO HURRY THE HELL UP," said Elizabeth.
Jeez I can't believe it's been a year without my Mom. Plus, I can still feel her with me. I can still see her running in those beautiful cotton sundresses she used to wear, playing with our dogs and us as a family taking our annual trip up to Ireland every summer where we would visit my grandparents and cousins. She would share with me all the secret nooks and spots she used to visit when she was a girl.
Today is the very day that my mother died in a car crash of last year and it is also the first day I'm supposed to be starting my first year of college. How am I going to find the strength to get through this?
There are some five individuals who were my lights through this dark time in my life though and they kept my depression at bay and from going insane.
