Prologue
They say the Rinnegan is the strongest among all the dojutsu. He who possesses it wields the infinite power to control both heaven and earth. The most famous was probably the Sage of the Six Paths himself. He brought peace to a ninja world that was war torn through his discovery of chakra and ninjutsu. But of course, we all know him for his legendary deed of sealing away the Juubi.
Everyone accepts just seems to accept that he is the lone savior of everything around us. However, through my studies out on the field, I have uncovered a scroll deep within the ruins of Uzishiogakure that reveals a dark, dark secret about our so-called "hero," one that would forever change the way we see this legendary ninja.
According to my findings, there was a whole clan who possessed the Rinnegan. But how could a whole group of people with the most powerful eye technique suddenly vanish? I am as bewildered as I am amazed.
That's not all. Apparently, the Sage could not defeat the Juubi on his own. In fact, he had help from another person within his clan. This ninja, unbelievably, is said to be even more powerful than the Sage himself. He was the one who actually defeated and brought the Juubi to its knees, but something happened to him before the sealing of the demon beast. This ninja…he disappeared, while the Sage took the credit for defeating and sealing the ten tails.
Who is this man? Where did he go? More importantly, where did his ENTIRE clan go? The scroll seems to have all the answers, but the rest of the text that says how is damaged and may take me a while to decipher. I'll get some rest now and hopefully, I can work on it tomorrow. I am terribly excited to see the biggest secret of the ninja world and why it has been kept hidden for this long.
