This fic come out surprisingly easily. I used the challenge of "days," and I just flowed. I wish all my work would do that.

Disclaimer: I do not own Sailor Moon.

"Endymion."

The prince turned at the soft voice of his mother.

"Yes, Mother?"

"You do not need to travel to the Moon if you do not wish to. I am certain your father would understand," the queen told her son, eyes that were full of worry betraying the true meaning of her words.

Endymion smiled warmly and rested his hands lightly on his mother's bony shoulders.

"Don't worry, Mother. Nothing will happen to me," the prince promised.

"You have been spending far too much time with those soldiers. Be aware of how you speak," the queen scolded her son.

Endymion laughed. "I am sorry, Mother. I shall be more aware from now on."

The queen smiled warmly and said, "Please, do be careful."

Endymion smiled back and assured her, "I will."

That said, the prince placed a kiss on his mother's cheek and left.

Day one on the Moon had been dreadful. While the queen Serenity had been incredibly hospitable to him, her people had not. It wasn't that they were outright rude, but they kept shooting him suspicious looks. Endymion would have preferred rotten tomatoes to his face in place of the silent judgment.

Day two had been slightly better. The Earthian prince had met one of the queen's warriors, a young woman with blue hair. She had been an astounding conversation partner. She had actually succeeded in making him feel stupid, a feat no one had ever achieved before.

It was day three, and Endymion had decided to explore the rose gardens. At the center of the garden existed Lake Selene, and standing at its shore was a woman Endymion swore had to be the lake's goddess. He felt so drawn to this ethereal being with flowing blonde hair that he did not even notice he was walking towards her until she turned around.

At first the beauty looked surprised, but then she smiled a smile that took the Earthian's breath away.

"I have never seen you before. You must be the prince from Earth, correct?" the goddess asked. Her voice was like the tinkling of bells.

"Yes, I am Prince Endymion," he answered mechanically.

"It is a pleasure to finally meet you. I am Serenity, the princess of the Moon. I am sorry I had not been able to meet you sooner," the woman introduced herself.

Endymion didn't believe in love at first sight. However, "hello" did come after first sight, so he decided there was nothing wrong with falling in love at "hello."
