A/n: I was initially requested to do a drabble on Tumblr and I ended up doing the wrong one. I still liked this story, so I thought it would be cool to post it here! This is in the same continuity as my AU fic Nothing More (still working on stuff for that!) Hope you enjoy!

Natsu always thought that Lazy days were absolutely the best days. What could be better than sleeping in with your girlfriend until all hours of the afternoon? Nothing was going to ruin this moment. Absolutely nothing.

"Natsu." He felt a nudge against his side.

No.

"Natsu, wake up."

Please no.

He groaned at the nudging and turned to face the person who dared to ruin this moment.

On most days, waking up to his girlfriend would be a treat. He loved seeing her unkempt blonde hair, tired eyes look back at him, and the evidence of drool that would sometimes linger against her chin. He loved waking up to Lucy Heartfilia, but after working a nineteen-hour shift at the station all he wanted to do was sleep forever.

He frowned. "Luce, do you know what time it is?"

Lucy sighed and sat up. "It's after twelve and you're supposed to meet Gajeel in an hour."

He hissed at her and pulled the sheet over his head.

"Did you just hiss at me?" She asked in disbelief.

When he didn't respond, Lucy pulled the covers from over her boyfriend's head and smacked him with a pillow.

"I didn't know I was taking care of two lazy cats! What happened to my fire breathing dragon?"

He hissed again.

Rolling her eyes Lucy got out of bed causing Natsu to reach out for her with grabby hands.

"Come back!" He whined with a pout forming on his lips. Instead of being greeted with the warmth of his girlfriend, a small furry figure replaced her.

"Go away, Happy! Can't you see I'm trying to work my magic?" Natsu lazily pushes the blue cat away from him. Happy only meowed and casually hopped off the bed. Lucy giggled at the two before crawling back into the bed.

She leaned down to nuzzle his cheek.

"If your magic consists of you being lazy all day, then it's not working."

He smirked. "You came back to bed, didn't you?"

"Only to drag you out of it." She grabbed his wrists and uses almost all of her strength to pull him, but it was like pulling dead weight.

Just as she was about to give up, Natsu pulled the unsuspecting woman against his chest.

"I've got a better idea." He nuzzled his face into her hair. The smell of roses clouding his senses. It was intoxicating.

"Why don't I blow him off and stay in bed with you all day? We could play around a little." That last remark made her spine tingle.

Ignoring him she tried to wiggle out of his hold. "You need to get your butt out of here."

When he didn't respond, she looked up to see him staring intently at her. A faint blush crept up on her cheeks.

"W-what?" She asked her eyes cautiously searching his own.

There was a twinkle of mischief in his eyes that made her bite down on her bottom lip.

"I'll get up as soon as we're done." He said.

Lucy looked at him quizzically. "Done?"

It wasn't until the feeling of warm hands slipping under her nightgown did he realize what he meant.

"N-natsu…" She started, but the peppered kisses against her neck destroyed her thought process.

"Just a few minutes." He murmured against her skin.

They both knew there was no one this would take a few minutes.
