A.N. Hello! Quick explaintion, Derpy and the Doctor are married in this Fanfiction. Just innocent caring and fluff(and a bit of depression from Derpy). I hope you enjoy! I don't own MLP: FiM or the TARDIS, no matter how much I want too.
You're alone.
You don't belong here.
Loser.
Derp eyes.
N...no... M-make it stop... a grey colored mare pleaded silently to herself. The voices of the past continued to haunt her mercilessly.
No one loves you.
No one needs you.
You are alone.
You-
"Make it stop!" she cried out loud before tears flooded down her face. Her cries echoed against the TARDIS walls, and the mare's face was soon flooded with tears.
"Derpy?"
It was a quiet intrusion to the mare's bedroom. The male's voice had a thick British accent wrapped around it, and Derpy clutched her blanket tightly. She couldn't let him see her like this.
"I-I'm putting on my socks! Don't come in!" she choked out. It was the first thing that came to her mind. Surely the stallion wouldn't come in when she said tha-
"Are your socks upsetting you that much?"
The door opened. Light poured into the pitch black room. Standing before Derpy was a handsome stallion with concern flooding his eyes. His hooves plodded softly against the lush carpet of her room, and hopped up dangerously close to her on her bed. A light blush fluttered the mare's cheeks.
"D-doctor..." she stammered. The Doctor brushed a strand of her wispy blonde hair back.
"Derpy. What's wrong?" he asked seriously. And with that Derpy began to sob. The Doctor quickly wrapped his hooves around her and rocked her back and forth.
"Shhhh... shhh... It's okay. Everything's going to be fine." he whispered comfortingly. Derpy's tears didn't cease, and she could only shake her head. She opened her mouth, and without even realizing it she began to pour out the voices of the past's taunts.
"I-I'm alone. I don't belong here, I'm a loser, no one loves me or needs m-"
Before she could even speak another word the Doctor had kissed her.
Derpy felt tears drop down her face as she kissed back. Drawing back, the Doctor kissed her forehead. He had a deadly serious gaze as he forced Derpy to look at him.
"You are not alone. You have me. You don't belong anywhere but here, by my side. You are not a loser. I love you. I need you. Derpy, whoever told you those things are completely imbeciles that should be taught a lesso-"
Derpy's eyes began to water again. She kissed him again.
"Thank you." she whispered softly. The Doctor's serious gaze turned into a soft smile. He pulled Derpy in for a hug, and she snuggled into his chest.
"Now, which pair of socks was making you cry?" he asked semi seriously. She blinked in a bit of surprise before smiling for the first time that night.
"The pear one-"
"I HATE PEARS! Let me at em'! Making my mare cry like that, oh, I'll show em' who's boss..."
Derpy suppressed a quiet chuckle as she watched the Doctor feverishly go through her sock drawer trying to find the pear designed socks.
You are not alone.
Derpy smiled, and the voices of the past seemed to vanish as her loving husband let out an exasperated sigh.
"Where are they?!"
