A shock to my fake heart

B-bump. B-bump. What was that?

B-bump. B-bump. There it goes again.

B-bump. B-bump. I try to open my eyes, but they refused to open.

I feel weak…

Next Day

I limp around the dark room .given to me by my creator Vexen, (I didn't consider him as a God, he was too boring and insignificant to be one) trying to obtain any strength that happened to lay around.

Suddenly the door opened, jolting my fake body. But I retained myself to show no emotion.

"What do you want Vexen?" I huffed out in my signature emotionless tone, after all, I couldn't produce any.

"I'll be taking you upstairs today." He stated

Damn Fake Heart of Mine

"Now remember, stick with the plan. Do not speak a word unless I instruct you to. And…"

Great…Vexen's lecturing me…again! I look around the white washed hall. Nothing but…well, white! I never knew someone who hated the light, could actually live in it. Ridiculous I say!

"Are you listening to me?!" Vexen shouted stopping his lecture.

I roll my eyes in response.

"Children these days have no respect!" and on and on he goes about respect…what a bore!

"Ok! Ok! I get it! Respecting elders are important! I get it! Now can we please go on?!" I shouted finally getting irritated with all these lectures.

"Fine, if you insist…" Vexen mumbled, finally giving up on lecturing me

"Finally…" I mutter under my breath as I walk towards the huge white door leading to the upper floors.

As we approach it, Vexen stops me.

"What is it?" I asked in an annoyed tone

"I'll go in first. You wait here." He whispered before disappearing
