"Honey, I'm home," Angel called as he walked in through the door. He removed his coat and placed his briefcase on the table.

"Honey?" he called again, when there was no answer.

"In here," came the distracted reply. Angel followed the sound of his lover's voice into the living room. What he saw there caused Angel to laugh out loud.

There was his wife, sitting on the edge of the couch, gripping a Nintendo 64 controller, and staring at the television screen with a look of fierce concentration on her face.

"Buffy, sweetie, what are you doing?" Angel chuckled.

"Playing James Bond," she replied, her eyes not leaving the television screen.

A gun was fired and blood dripped down the TV screen. Buffy sighed in frustration as the words 'Game Over' appeared on the screen.

"Why would you want to play James Bond?" a look of confusion briefly washing over his face.

"Well the slaying has been a bit slow lately, and plus, daylight," Buffy motioned towards the open window where the sunlight came pouring in, "I was bored so I decided to have a bit of fun."

"But why James Bond? Why not shopping?"

"Well, Willow's at some Wicca convention with Tara, Anya and Dawn are working at the Magic Box, so I have no one to go with and it's no fun on my own," Her lips turned to form a perfect pout.

"Well, I always said you were a child at heart."

Buffy grinned, " Wanna play?"

Angel looked uncertain, pausing before he spoke, " I suppose."

He sat down next to Buffy on the couch and watched as she set a multiplayer up. The 007 music began to play as the game started.

"Uh, Buffy?" Angel asked.

"Yeah?"

"How the hell do I play this?" He asked as he looked exasperatedly between the coloured keys and the screen.

Buffy giggled and quickly explained the different controls and their actions.

"Ok, I think I got all of that," Angel said. He looked up at the TV screen, it was divided into two halves, and the bottom one he now knew was his, was black with tiny green writing. "Hey, what happened?"

"I shot you" Buffy replied simply.

Angel growled, "I wasn't ready"

"It's just like Slaying, it doesn't matter if you're ready or not, the vamp is still going to get you." She explained simply.

The next time Buffy's character approached Angel's, he was ready, he quickly applied pressure to the shoot button, and the person on the screen fell to the ground.

"You're not supposed to do that," Buffy complained in a baby voice. "It's not fair."

"Oh, isn't it, sweetie" Angel cooed. Buffy just pouted. "Do you want me to make it all better?" She grinned as he picked her up and carried her upstairs, where he proceeded to do just that.

He made it all better.
