I ran without looking back, I could hear my ragged breaths ripping through the air and I looked at the ground, speeding up I thought, "Only one more block." and alas, the sight that greeted me made me glad that I ran... Camp Foreigner. I walked forward a step, then looked around, people were everywhere, running around, greeting back old friends, and checking in. "Oh yeah," I thought, "I better go check in too, I do want to know where I'm sleeping anyway." I walked over to the table where everyone was going to. There was a nice, cheery looking middle-aged woman there and I walked up to her, "Hello." I said in a thick Hispanic accent. "Hello there," she greeted back in an Irish accent, smiling, " and what would your name be?" "I'm Javier, I'm going to be one of the new counselors." "Aaah, yes Javier,(pronounced HA-VY-AIR) you will be in cabin 7 with Hunter, Scarlet, Anthony, Dylan, Luke, and Daniel. You will be sharing a room with Addie, the other counselor in your group." the kind woman said as she handed me papers with me and my groups schedule and the list of kids for taking attendance. I thanked her and walked off, in search of cabin 7, "Cabin 9, cabin 8, cabin 7!" I thought as I walked passed the luxurious cabins. I heard the shouts of a teenage girl with a thick German accent screaming, "No!" an "Stop that!" "Well this should be interesting." I thought with a smirk as I neared the cabin door. I walked inside and was greeted by a bunch of 10 year-olds running circles around a girl that looked about my age, that girl looked to be the result of those screams and I decided to come in and save her. I walked in and whistled quite loudly and everybody stopped and stared at me.
"Hello, my name is Javier and I will be your other counselor for this summer." I announced, sooner than later I found all the kids bounding over to me. "Hi! My names Hunter! I'm from Ireland, where are you from? Your accent sounds weird, what's your favorite food? Mine is Pizza, are any of your friends from back home here? Do you have any little siblings? I do, they're the worst, always sniffing around in my stuff." a little girl in front of me said wrinkling her nose at that last part. She was wearing two braids with ribbons weaved into them, green and blue. "Uuuuuuuuuhhhh" I said, looking at my partner, Addie, she just shook her head and mouthed, "You were the on that whistled." I rolled my eyes, what a great help she was. "I'm from Mexico, I traveled very far to come here so I hope you all behave, then we can all have a great big lot of fun! So I would like to begin by you al saying your names and one thing about yourself." Hunter opened her mouth and I shook my head at her, "You just went Hunter, what about... you." I said, looking at a small blond boy with wide brown eyes. "Ummm, my name is Anthony and, I'm from France. I saw Addie smile at him.
