A/N: Here's a quick oneshot, hopefully you think its good! EDIT: Decided to rewrite this in hopes to make this better. Enjoy.

Disclaimer: I don't own Adventure Time or Everybody Talks by Neon Trees. It's a good song, trust me.

Chapter 1

I entered the Sweet and Sour, the only candy bar in the Candy Kingdom. This place was a bit older, you could tell by the aging on the building and furniture. It wasn't a bad thing though; I think it drew in more customers due to its condition. This place wasn't completely a bar, the other part of it was a family restaurant. So seeing kids under the age here was normal. My eyes scanned the area; I wished I wasn't here alone… Cake was on a date with Lord Monochromicorn and once again, I was on my own. PB was busy doing his baking competitions and Flame Prince was busy going to the Fire Kingdom to talk to his mother about living arrangements. The only thing I had to do now was to hang out at this old place, Cake used to come here all the time but then she had gotten a boyfriend. Maybe I should get my own boyfriend so I wouldn't be so lonely. The only problem was, I didn't know any boys besides my friends and they weren't my type. Sighing, I sat down on a stool and looked at the menu a waitress handed me."Root Beer Float please," I ordered politely as the woman went in the back to grab my drink.

The place was quite loud, a lot of teenage girls fussing over something I had no clue about. They did seem really excited though, I hadn't seen this many girls in a while at this place. This became a new hangout area or something? Shrugging my shoulders, I paid more attention to my hands which were slightly sweaty for some reason. I'd feel better once I had my root beer float. Closing my eyes for a few short moments, they reopened when an announcement rung through the air. "Ladies and Candygents, please put your hands together for Marshall Lee and his band!" The announcement said excitedly and everyone's attention went to the front. I stayed where I was, I noticed the girls get even more excited. Is this what they were making a big deal about? A guy? Figures, girls… That's all they cared about. I would never fall for such a guy just because he can sing or maybe his looks. If he can defeat me in a fight, then maybe I'd consider him worthy.

"Thanks' for coming everyone, I hope you enjoy this piece 'Everybody Talks.' Just remember, no matter where you're at or what you're doing, everybody talks." A male voice said over the microphone. He voice sounded as smooth as silk, I tried to ignore it as the waitress came up to me. I thanked the girl and took a sip. It tasted and immediately, I began to feel better. My tense body began to loosen itself and I slumped in my chair with a smile. I then suddenly heard a cough before the girls squealed like the fangirls they were.

"Hey baby, won't you look my way? I can be your new addiction. Hey baby, what you gotta say? All you're giving me is fiction. I'm a sorry sucker and this happens all the time. I found out that everybody talks, everybody talks, everybody talks." The guy sang loudly and I stopped sipping my delicious drink. I slowly turned to see the man was staring at me, a playful grin on his lips. A light blush ran along my cheeks, this guy was hot. Now I understood these girls. That black hair, sweeping across his face, I wanted to run my fingers through it. I slowly stood and began making my way towards the stage, leaving my drink behind. I wanted to see this guy up closer, see what he looked like up close.

"It started with a whisper, and that was when I kissed her, and then she made my lips hurt. I could hear the chit chat. Take me to your love shack, Mama's always gotta back track. When everybody talks back. Hey honey, you could be my drug.
You could be my new prescription, too much could be an overdose. All this trash talk make me itchin'. Oh my my, Everybody talks, everybody talks. Everybody talks, too much."
Our eyes continued to stare into each others, his red orbs with my blue ones. I noticed a smirk form on his face and my blush darkened, who in the world was this guy? He just kept singing the song as if this wasn't doing anything to me. I couldn't even hear the people around me, I was trapped in his spell he had over me. A smile slowly formed on my face when he bent down in front of me and finished the song. I kind of wanted to squeal with the girls around me, but instead, I rolled my eyes and made my way back to my drink. Sitting down, I slightly pressed the cold drink against my cheek in hopes that it would cool down my hot blush.

"Miss?" A voice called, matching the voice of the singers. My head slowly turned and I looked to see who it was, I was right with my assumption. I bit my bottom lip as my eyes scanned over the lead vocalist. "I never got your name." He said with his charming smile. He looked laid back, chilled. This guy seemed awesome; he would get along with PG and Flame Prince. My thoughts paused, he didn't know her name? Everyone in Candy Kingdom knew her name, where was this guy from? I blew some of my blond bangs out of my face. "Fionna." I said calmly, trying to keep my composure though it was hard.

He chuckled, "What a cute name." His two fangs showed and I finally noticed them. "My names Marshall Lee, I am the Vampire King." He introduced to me and rubbed the back of his neck." It was a blast meeting you, but I should go. Hopefully I see you again." He began floating, "Ill really hope." He said, causing my blush to darken more. A Vampire? That was really radical.

"I don't usually don't come here, but I guess I can come again." I said, my own smirk playing on my lips. This guy was pretty interesting; I wanted to see him more. I raised my hand to wave as he slowly floated off. "Until next time," I heard him call before he vanished. "Cool…." I mumbled before finishing off my drink.

A/N: Should I continue this? Tell me in a review! Sorry if there's mistakes, I didn't feel like correcting it lol. EDIT: I decided to put the lyrics back in this, so if Critics Unite has a problem about it, ill take them down again.
